The worrying part is, if they can get something so wrong to start with, who knows whether we’ll all be unbanned despite the fact we’ve never justified getting a ban
Glad they still try to put the blame on the players while the issue was caused by their server.
Put appeal in before finding this ticket and just got a response.

10 hours later and still nothing, what a joke.
I also put a ticket in and they told me not to abandon games even though I never have. On top of that they said they’ll never revoke a ban no matter what.
this is mindblowing!!! We are indeed at fault because why did we try to play the game?
this is ridiculous I think they just want us to stop playing the game at this point
This reply is most likely automated or sent by a human who’s only job is to copy and paste generic template responses. Don’t worry too much about the response from a support ticket; they have identified there is a problem in this thread so we’ll most likely get unbanned, but it is taking them quite a while!

Had the exact same thing. I almost never use vc and only used text chat to say gg and the like. An absolute joke
I failed to connect to a game when the shop updated got a 15 min ban, waited it out then kept playing. Logged in today and I’m banned for the full season.
Emailed to clarify why I’d been banned and got back a generic ‘this action was taken in accordance to our terms of use’ but I’m pretty sure I’ve not broken any terms of use

Yea this is happening to a lot of people including me.
Not many companies could claim that players abandoning games ruins people’s experience, and then go on to ban all of the players who don’t abandon games
Would it maybe be worth making an announcement for players that may not even use forum to settle their worries on what has happend? I bet theyre worried.
What about those players which are effected from the “connection to server failed” bug many times. Counts this as a dodged / left match? does it count as leaver penalty?

You’re a multi billion dollar company, what do you mean you have nothing to share? It shouldn’t take 10+ hours to realize you messed up.
I can understand default answers but I am sure i am not the only one reporting it in such short time.
Why not use your brain and think something more might be going on?
Even if they aknowledge it in this topic, why not make a msg in the game that they know about the issue and are researching it? (or the launcher).
Seems like something easy to add.
Is it worth submitting an email on the issue or is it just a waiting game?
