it feels like every second post here is about mercy. Mercy has a resurect, her old ult isnt coming back and shes pretty balanced rn, get over it. Or at least just make one megathread about mercy

Apparantly you joined the forums 3 hours ago, have made 3 posts and viewed 20 topics.

And… during this time you’ve become so upset about Mercy threads that you’ve decided to make a whole new thread to complain about it? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Well, to be fair, there are a lot of Mercy posts.

However, there are also a lot of Mercy posts complaining about Mercy posts…

It’s almost as if we need a megathread for it or something…

Well i just have two things to say.

One is to the mercy mains(which i am one of):
Mercy is dead… just let it go because they clearly don’t care and you are just wasting time and effort typing to them(especially after all this time). I won’t tell you to start maining other characters because if you really love mercy you might not want to invest time and effort into other characters having lost all the progress on mercy which is useless now. I will simply tell you to consider other games if this is the case and maybe check on overwatch in a few months(if it’s still around) and possibly find it more fun than.

The second part is to the people complaining about it:
You are all, just like the mercy mains, creating even more spam and furthermore no one is forcing you to read any of this let alone reply… which i find to be ridiculous since you do both of those things even though you have zero interest in the subject matter unless it is simply to provoke folks that are upset about something. Making you appear extremely toxic as you keep telling them to shut up etc…

You sound like you’re going through phases of grief there and have reached acceptance? :yum: I’m not quite there yet.

They did just remove Torbs scrap mechanic, and that would be an ideal mechanic to give to Mercy. So, that could be a clue for a possible future change/rework to come. I’m hopeful, at least.

I don’t really think people are bothered about the forum being “spammed” by Mercy threads. I think that they’re just using that as a tool/shield for trying to shut the debate down. That’s pure speculation of course, but… yeaah… :stuck_out_tongue:

A megathread would be cool.

Ya, but I’m personally not interested in policing it. I am aware that most of these threads are created by people who don’t “live on the forums” and so aren’t aware that they’re doing is defined as “wrong” by making a thread on Mercy. I am not against the idea of a single Mercy thread but I also have no problem with multiple ones. If I see a thread that perks my interest, I’ll reply to it. That’s what the forum is here for at the end of the day.

I bet people have a mixed opinion about dublicate threads in general. Some brush it off, some get annoyed by it (including me).

Not to mention, creating multiple threads of the same topic is against the CoC (creating dublicate threads) so you actually aren’t allowed to do that. Instead, you should reply on an existing thread.

This definetly can be prevented if the forum shows you recommendations of relevant thread when writing a new thread. That way, the OP is directed to an already existing thread.

There actually are mega threads about Mercy, but the devs never read them which is sad. I know a lot of threads about the same thing is annoying. If the devs would actually acknowledge us we would stop making these threads.

Most threads started after the 50 hps nerf so I think if they buff her healing a bit there won’t be so many posts.
