for me its not working lol i think blizz completely abandon the SC now haha

nice… but doing this everytime you want to play is going to be tedious.

This worked for me: Launch and when the loadingbar appears you disconnect the Internet connection. The game will launch. Then you can connect to Internet again. I have to do this every time I launch the game so this is not be best solution.

nice this works. Thank you.

So the “solution” is disconnecting the internet or running a CMD command each time I want to play?
Is this acceptable by Blizzard??? What a joke, I re-installed the game after a year and this is the welcome I get, uninstalling as I write this.

Worked like a charm!

Problem still exists. Wanted to play for one or two rounds after 3-4 Moths and a loading screen is the only thing I saw for 15 minutes, bevor the game startet.
Is it that hard to fix this problem?

This is really bad. It looks like don’t give a damn about customers. Hope they go under, they don’t deserve our money

I started having the same loading issue about 3 days ago that caused SC2 to take a few minutes to start. For some reason I also had some mouse-issues.

I just reinstalled the game and that completely fixed everything for me. (MacOS Catalina 10.15.7).

I have the same issue, this is completely inaceptable ! How can Blizzard let a bug that impactful blocks the entire game from launching !!!

I’m mad at Blizzard, they must fix it soon or I should ask them to reimburse my game.

@Blizzard

So you gonna just wait or start to actually solve this?

This issue exists since 2 years. Please.

Actually I just found a solution that worked for me:

  1. Navigate to your SC2 Directory (in Battle.net Client → Show in Explorer)
  2. Under the base directory navigate to: <sc2 directory>\SC2Data\config\
  3. Open directory “3b” (create if it doesn’t exist)
  4. Open directory “93” (create if it doesn’t exist)
  5. Make sure you are in <sc2 directory>\SC2Data\config\3b\93\
  6. Create or replace the file with the name “3b938eed7536396b1d7a000ca9b2cd39” (you might want to backup your version of the file in case this didn’t work).
    Make sure the file is being created without an extension (if you don’t know how to do that, just google “how to create file without extension in windows” and open the first result)
    The file must have the following content (replace <empty line> with an actual empty line):

key-2c37ee593d8e0c07 = cb017b81e2071b3984f8d380c7770777
key-145df70b651ef9d7 = 4258eefa148c94c5cd0ad0f65f4b05f0
<empty line>

!!! Important is that you leave one empty line at the end of these two lines. !!!

  1. Save the file and go back to the Battle.net client
  2. Launch SC2.
  3. Go Cannonrush or Mass Voidray and enjoy.
