After starting the game, it has been stuck on the screen showing the lion’s head iron gate, and I still can’t enter the game after trying many times.

Exactly same problem. i even tried few more solutions, like restarting PC and disabling Firewall. Nothing helped.

After the 1.33 patch my wc3 lags so bad I can’t even click or scroll with the mouse, not only that but every game I try to join have 2609ms ping and I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game while also adjusting my settings in game to lowest settings to no avail Truly upset right now
same here on 1.32 could play without any issue and now just getting stuck and the Lion screen, was really happy to be able to play with my childhood friend the game that filled our summers and now with a poorly developed patch 1.33 you manage to ruin the simple pleasure of so many gamers.
Honestly it’s really disappointing and things seem to go only downhill for this game it’s really a shame you managed to screw up so badly something which a not so long while ago was such a beautiful game …

After patch game just crashes on lionscreen (The application encountered an unexpected error popup). Tried reinstall, relog, getting to the game through worldeditor and replay but nothing works.
And in your new blue post you dont even address this issue…

Everyone do you have WC3-Multi Tool instaled? If so game will only start with it running. Either unistall that for now or play with it! Same problem that was solution for me.

I have the same issue.
What is WC3 Multi Tool ?
If it doesnt work and you don’t have it then search google for it and install it it helped me to go trough lion gate screen.
Lets see if it helps it…
Thats kinda hard to believe some tool like this can help bypass some Blizz error

Yea me too. But hey as long as it works! Since blizzard don’t adress/acknowledge this issue to exist at all (looking at last news) something had to be done, glad i could help it!
Multi Tool doesnt work for me, so nothing helps only fix from blizz if they even notice this bug of course

Sry to hear that. Ill keep looking some other ways when i delete multi tool and will post new as soon as i find something else. For now this will work for some people.

Yesterday I posted here that the 1.33 (1.33.0.19194) update got stuck on the screen of the lion head iron gate after starting the game. I tried many times but still can’t get in, after uninstalling the game and reinstalling, I still can’t get in. Today, I saw that the updated version of the game has become 1.33.0.19203, but after the game starts, it is still posted on the screen of the Lion’s Head Iron Gate. I’ve tried many times and still can’t get into the game.

the same problem with mac air 2014
I had the same problem, tried various “fixes” that I found online, got past the lion head to be greeted with black screen, game sounds and the in game cursor.
