Internet and youtube is full of lovely locations that could be visited as travel destinations in England for this. I mainly have interest on cozy old towns Im not much into busy city. Many travel guide have lists of over 20 countryside old pub type locations if one wishes to experience such in old town and the whichever era masonry type that most houses and roads are made with

Havent seen much of England outside of London, but went to York once and that seemed very lovely and alot of old style buildings. At least compared to my hometown where «everything» got wiped out in WW2.

They arent what they usedto be, all run down abandoned filled with homeless on the streets.

Meanwhile flat next door is 2 bedroom and is currently housimg 20 foreign mational adults inside of it under 1 roof :joy:

I got some cool old plates from my nan while back that they had brought with them from the areas that Fin lost also around same timeline I think, during winter war. They were almost everything they had left when they had to leave their homes in areas that now belong to Rus in Karelia. Their homesteads and homes were also burned or taken. Then they began new lives in Helsinki with what they brought with them, and now I eat porridge from one of the plates for breakfast. She still has handful of years but I can see her giving away her things like this. I appreciate the history and try keep care of them!

Think most vacationers would notice if streets are littered with homeless people and buildings are abandoned and left to rot.

Lovely to have something from back then  my grandmother and her siblings wete sent to denmark during the war. The whole city they lived in got burnt down, only the chapel was left standing iirc.

My hometown got quite recked aswell so most buildings are from after WW2 and it looks quite sad tbh. Grey and boring.

Netflex suggested me few recent films and serieses from during this period in Norway. I found them interesting and well made. Narvik and Krigsseileren/War Sailor. Sulis 1907 were also good about the mining but its from pre ww2

Funnily enough my hometown is Narvik

Lilyhammer is still best “norwegian related” show. The one with the sopranos guy

I have never actually watched that one.

Check it out its pretty funny, good comedy/light hearted drama

Heh friend just made good point about rsham that atleast none can blame ion for favoring his own main as the dude has played rsham for years and still rsham healing design is so awful :joy:

I hate that they kept primordial wave and that healing wave with its 2.5sec cast time has basically no use at all outside of primordial + ns combo and surge is too expensive to be spammed outside of riptides. We take 2 talents, primordial and nature’s swiftness to be used every 1min to make 1 big heal equivalent of hpriests Serenity which is just one button and their specs core design is that they also have cooldown reduction on the two charges of it unlike shaman has any for primordial or nature’s swiftness which is their only means to make single big heal with a cooldown of 1min. I like rsham utility with grounding, tremor, relocate with cage and kicks but healing is still so awful.

I never use PW, hated it in SL and hate it even more now. Dont take NS either

I hate both primodial wave and unleash life so much, both just feel like bottlecking globals, we are pressing alot of globals to make heals that other healers can do with single global. The design feels as bad as this recent removal of drain life from affliction rendering the iconic spell not worth to kept on hotbars. I dont know what they are doing.

If the weather predicaments hold value we will all be playing wow in northern parts of planet in around 40 years or so. If on areas around middle latitudes average yearly temperatures rise 15C nobody will be able to live there, whole planet will travel towards northern cooler parts. I only hope we will play wow in 40 years, nobody will make me quit this game before the servers are taken down :joy:

Right. Im out for a few days. Tired of this xenophobic filth.

Best part of that entire show is Alan Ford going into the pharmacy to get his medication and he ends up slamming his .357 on the table.

Yeah I remember we talked of it earlier too, the whole show is just great. Ive been thinking watch it again its been few years I saw it. Well made comedy with grit and good characters!

Dude just didnt want to go into specifics of his conditions there at the pharmacy :joy:

It made funny scene and it also highlights some issues with our strict nordic pharmacy policies when almost anything is behind prescription and needs a doctors appointment.

I have never, ever, seen an actor more menacing without even trying to act menacing. His mere presence on screen has me saying “yeah… don’t mess with this guy…”
