I personally am not into conpiracy theories. I don’t doubt that Overwolf has had plenty of issues in the past and some of it’s reputation is deserved but I’m not into the more far fetched it’s going to kill my computer, sell my first born child kind of thing that’s been going around

If you don’t want to use it, then don’t use it. Very simple. There are a whole load of database scrapers that will do that for you, or download the old fashioned way :slight_smile:

For what it’s worth I installed it, used it once, removed any option to run In the background and… No issue whatsoever ? Can’t tell so far if it’s doing something with my data but so far no “OW killed my PC” issues.
