🦄 High Elves will be playable by the end of Midnight

Before as in what? Horde aligned where the alliance members are at most tolerated?

And what’s the new direction you think it would go?

There is nothing pointing that out. They went to pains to tell folks this is temporary via NPCs.

You didn’t answer:

Yeah but Amora seems to belief those sentiments will fall in the aftermath and suddenly Blood Elves will be fine with full on Alliance presence in the City.

Why do you always do this, Kiryanor?
I never said this.

So does that mean High Elves will stop their hateboner on the Horde? Or are they allowed to keep it?

Then what do you say? What will be the NEW status for the Silvermoon if you say it won’t return to being a proper Horde City and Army of Light and alliance will largely leave post plot?

Answer the question:

Are the examples you are using before or after the final outcome of the well?

Both since Blizzard doesn’t seem to update NPCs or Phase the City Proper to reflect the story.

What do you mean both?
The march where you have to calm citizens down happens prior to the final outcome.

The point is: We’ll have to wait and see what happens in the aftermath.

If you think that we had any influence on what we got, then I don’t know what to tell you.
I wish we got 2 faction hubs; 2 updated capitals. But I don’t believe that was ever even on the table for Blizzard.

They only ever teased ‘we’re going back to Quel’thalas for Midnight’, so people speculating that we were only getting Silvermoon as a hub makes sense. We were never given any indication that we’d get an alliance area and you can’t do an expansion and not give both factions a hub.

Should we have received 2 capitals? 100% yes.
But we got what we got.

It wasn’t on the table because they could get away with it. Because you did in fact asked to take a faction city and turn it into a shared hub. When I was saying that Silvermoon should not be a shared hub and instead the Alliance should get their own separate hub I was told that was wrong by Alliancebois. That they didn’t want to spend more time flying to the expansion zones that the Horde did. Go look it up if you don’t believe me. And now here you are hinting of Horde bias, how only the Horde got their city spiffed up, because that’s what you are doing.

I don’t claim any bias. But the factions aren’t treated equally.
It’s a fact that the horde is getting an updated capital and the alliance is not.
And no, Bel’ameth does NOT compare in any way shape or form with an updated Silvermoon.

And this:

Makes it sound as if you’re accusing me. As if it’s my fault.
Which is completely and utterly ludicrous.

It doesn’t matter whether they did or not. It had no influence whatsoever on what Blizzard did. By the time people started sharing these ideas, Blizzard’s plans were locked in and they were actively developing it.

They are actively developing The Last Titan right now too. Do you think what we say will change their big plans? Hell no. Small things, tiny details, sure. But not something as big as the zones of an expansion and its main hub. We have zero say in the matter.

I mean the royal you. You, the alliancebois. And all I’m gonna say is that what’s done is done, but I don’t expect it to be different the next time they want to pull another neutral-but-not-really-Horde-City again.

Indeed they are. Ignorant people just hate the Horde despite the race already been there since 2007.

The high elf fanatics keep demanding Silvermoon to become fully neutrals so their PC isn’t going to feel weird when there is faction war again. It was never about the race they just want to openly hate on the Horde without consequences.

Stop spreading fakenews, Erevien.

No, they hate that a race that was iconic for the alliance was just handed to the horde for silly reasons. That’s quite a different hate and not ignorant at all.

Blizzard screwed up all those years ago. They just did.
And we’re still discussing this stuff nearly 20 years later because of that screw up.

And you openly hate the Alliance, so kind of hypocritical to call them out on that, isn’t it?
Oh, but if you do it, it’s okay, right? It’s only wrong if someone else does it. Right? RIGHT?

Sigh.

Literally all you need to do is scroll up a bit to see it for yourself. Lazy as always and ignorant.

I am not opening demanding to get entry to Stormwind and then ask the humans to stay neutral because it hurts my feelings when they side against my faction. Only you do that.

Blood elves are Horde because Blizzard said so and that won’t change. Quel’thalas was a glorfied sidekick for 5 minutes and left instantly the moment the war was over. They only gained their own and personal story when they left that faction. Said so by Blizzard. Who actually writes the story. not you.

He’s not saying they should be neutral for the heck of it.

He’s essentially saying that Blizzards own writing is weird, and the idea of allowing a Thalassian unification at the same time as they’ll (probably) introduce faction tension later makes no sense.

And that the only way to make sense of it in the long run is to make Silvermoon some kind of neutral hub.

There will always be faction tensions unless both factions are dismantled. If you hate that the blood elves would be hostile that is on you and not the problem of Silvermoon’s governemnt.
