🦄 High Elves will be playable by the end of Midnight

Oh man, seeing how High Elf fans point out that Blood Elves joing the Horde makes no sense due to the events of the second war, I don’t even want to imagine how angry people would be if Draenei joined the Horde after the genocide in Outland o.O

Lets just say it would fit Blizzards need for subverting our expectations. xD

This goes with the theory of Quel’talas neutrality, which in paper will be Blood Elves Horde, High Elves Alliance. And helps explain the datamined Quel’talas Adventurers on the Portal rooms.

We gotta wait and see what blizzard special awaits us. In the end it will something that everyone will be unhappy with im sure.

It seems Alliance keeps on winning though.

I understand the fustration, its why i stopped playing for a few years because alliance became an npc faction on the horde soap opera.

Now it seems its the other way around but two wrongs do not make a right.

I sincerely hope that after the dawnwell the story focus more on the BE leadership on the dealings with the trolls.

You still at least had your own side of things in the story. Even if BFA was Horde’s Soap Opera you still followed your heroes doing things related to your faction. You weren’t forced to aid Nathanos and Rokhan with convincing Zandalari. You were there to hinder those efforts.

Right now we don’t even get that. In Midnight I’ll be forced to convince Silvermoon Citizens that they should let Sons of Lothar and Army of Light treat their city as their base. I’ll be following Arator’s little crisis of faith watching yet another Horde Warrior join the Alliance centric organization named after the group that tried to eradicate all Orcs. I’ll be following Umbric who wasn’t ever shy of his desire to kill Lor’themar and take over Silvermoon. And despite Liadrin presence in Amani zones the main driving force will be surprisingly neutral Raventusks.

And by the end of the story the race I grew to love will basically be giving Alliance Elves all they ever wanted. Void Elves will get the Embassy, High elves will be reintegrated and Night Elves will finally get to depower last remnant of the well of Eternity. Joyful day for a Blood Elves indeed.

Citing ugh… Tyrande from DF “I’m so tired”

Honestly it’s best to wait till release and play the whole campaign through to fully get a sense of what’s happening, can always look at datamined text/voice lines, but will never get full context till its out. also yet again throwing my support behind High Elf allied race! or at the very least a racial tag and visually different racial’s (optional for void elves), but also I’d want actual heritage armour and mount etc too.

Why everyone keeps calling Numriel “Erevien”, the name is Numriel. Anyways back to the topic, I really like the unicorn on the title. If they ever add High Elves I wish they get one as their mount :unicorn:

We blood elves ll burn high elves and their city how we burned Teldrassil.

You damn dirty tree huggers :monkey:

Only the purest may mount unicorns :unicorn:

Hey, Gabriela.

The Blood Elves also end up giving full amnesty to High and Void Elves - and the latter return as Magisters in Magisters Terrace. The Night Elves request that the Sunwell be depowered in exchange for their assistance.

Liadrin has a moment where she speaks regretfully of the harm committed onto her exiled kin. As well as Rommath realizes his error, and makes up to Umbric.

Everything you mocked and taunted people with, is false. The High/Void Elves are returning in Silvermoon long-term.

Well to be fair the latter are given Embassy meaning there’s still a degree of separation between Ren’dorei and Quel’Thalas. You’re not given an Embassy if you’re considered a citizen of the Country.

Who knows if the Dawnwell situation won’t end up reigniting more tensions though. Not like Blood Elves don’t need that energy to power their city.
