Can relate, both when using the yak and the brutosaur. Though if I notice and not in a rush I typically let them finish up. At least with the transmogrification, that stuffâs important.

I really dont get why are ppl so upsett about a mount with small QoL, that Blizzard clearly stated it ll be removed after BfAâŚand yes they said it ll come to the black market but never specified when, so they are doing exactly what they promissed
And keep in mind, in BfA it cost 5mill, now unless you have gold cap ready for it, you wont get itâŚbut then ppl will be complaining that its too expensive and only ppl buying tokens could afford it, they will never appease everybody
And yes, i have bought the mount, but if they would remove the AH, i would just make a lvl1 alt, park it in SW ah and send everything there i wanna sell like i had in Legion and BfA, i really dont see why we need multiple threads on this topic and important stuff like class balancing or tunnig gets passed over

No, they didnât announce it at all!
Itâs removal only got publicly known from Wowhead whom datamined PTR. Later Blizzard did confirm the removal, and promised to make it available on BMAH.
If it wasnât for the datamining, it would have disappeared from vendors with patch release without a warning.

Blizz did a rly dumb move removing it imo, most ppl farming and getting it for 5 mil already got it by the time they removed it, all they did is making sure no one else can ever get it while rich players already bought it, super dumb imo and not even removing it properly but making sure it can come to BMAH at gold cap so itâs even more inaccessible, classic blizz 
Trying to âfixâ a problem that they created by not fixing it at all and taking it out on players that missed the chance. (If they rly wanted to remove the mount, they should have straight up removed it from the game and refunded 5 mil to all players that bought it, clean and simple.)

This wasnt handled very nicely.
But it was an announcement / statement of its removal nonetheless.
Its not a great way how they dealt with it, making the statement of its removal after the datamining.
But it still was a heads up, and i believe it was about 6 to 7 months before Shadowlands would release.

No, it was a statement confirming something they never intended to announce, hence it was no announcement.
Imagine if the datamining somehow didnât check the status of the mount and itâs vendors, and Wowhead didnât made the headline revealing itâs removal. There would be not a single word about it from blizzard until a player storm on itâs sudden and unexpected removal.
Forcing players unable to grind the millions of gold within the deadline to swipe the card for tokens. A spit on the face of poor collectors.

I truly believe most people desperately want it because itâs a unique mount, as in the only mount with an AH.
If blizz suddenly deleted the transmog yak I wanna bet people would pay goldcap too if it reappeared on the bmah.
The mount is unique but not gamechanging, at all. These days you literally are never more than 30 sec away from an ah. You can buy all sorts of items to teleport you, the cloaks that tele you to SW/ORG from the guild vendor donât share a CD and are cheap as hell, not to mention 15 min hearthstone CD AND for the first time an actual AH in the expansion hub.
ALso, but this is bias for me personally, I like to travel to the city to use the AH. Gives the game itâs immersion.
If some of you had your way all this stuff would be available with the press of a single button. Why not add a personal sla⌠ahem ⌠assistent pet that has ALL the functions? Transmog, vendor, ah, bmah, teleports, respec âŚ
Or better yet remove all that and make the game into a moba! Just create a lvl 70 class and gogo m+ and raid. /rolleyes

Reigns of the mighty caravan brutosoar = achieved by 4% of accounts
Which puts it in the top 10 of the rarest mounts in the game and i guess in line with other FOMO mounts like swift spectral tiger.

Call it whatever you want. But it was communicated it was removed with time to spare to get one.
I said it before: the way they handled it wasnt correct but you got told it would be removed.
And all your if / when / maybe dont apply. If i was born 1 hour earlier i might not been playing WoW⌠but we will never know.

Lets just sum it up and spare oursevles the brain damage that can be sustained by reading some of the replies here.
We have two sides here mainly.
One side has many reasons why the mounts should not be brought back. Best reasons being is that no one was blindsided, we are usually warned beforehand before stuff is removed, its on you to go get it. Arguing why it was removed is irrelevant
The other side just drools and keeps asking blizz to ârealese the pixelzâ âstop the gatekeepingâ while Blizzard themselves have said absolutely nothing about introducing glad mounts, spectral tigers and whatever else people want into the trading post. Its just pure wishing sprinkled with loads of copium âi am a customer and if i spam the forums it will make a changeâ
Also there is a lot of posts about âmaking gatekeeping elistists cryâ by giving away rare items for free. like wtf

Also there is a lot of posts about âBMAH is fineâ by having it cost gold cap and only available once per realm every blue moon. Like wtf

It is worth noting that Blizzardâs announcement never said it would be removed from the game, but that it will be moved from the vendor to the BMAH.
Despite that, the Brutosaur mount was removed from the game without any warning, because itâs more than two years that it didnât show up even once at BMAH in ANY realm. All the other mounts show up often, and players transfer realm to buy whenever they pop.
So the forum trolls that whine âBut Blizz said they will remove it from the gameâ - no, Blizz didnât say that at all. Many people who worked hard to get the gold for it but got it a bit late, counted on it. Many players check the BMAH every night in many realms, for 2+ years now, just because of Blizzardâs promise.
It seems very wrong that Blizzard refuses to say anything about it and keeps the players having to check the BMAH every night due to a promise that might be a lie.

No my friend, the Brutosaur is definitely removed from the game without any warning. itâs not a matter of frequency. It havnât pop in any realm for 2.5 years, while all other items pop all the time.
Itâs already been explained that Blizzard never said they will remove it from the game, but that they will move it from the vendor to the BMAH.
Itâs OK that you donât know this mountâs many uses, in addition to its collection value, but I and many others do, even though Iâm not going to teach it to you here.
And no, I should have got it whenever I wanted, not whenever you think I should. BMAH was a totally fine option for me back then when Blizzard announced it will be moved there.
Look in my profile, you will see that I have ALL OF THE BMAH items that exist, including the more rare items that need goldcap to get asap, except this mount. So you are wrong, and it was easy for me to get it if Blizzard had kept their promise.
Then itâs totally your right to not buy it. Me and many others do think itâs a huge gameplay advantage, as some of us actually know how to use this tool. In any case, some people donât understand why the game needs raids, and other have no interest in pets. It doesnât bother me, as long as they are not being toxic and try to make others to not have the parts they love in the game.

It has been sighted and sold over a year ago. With your and other peoples only source being an addon and apparently everyone who for sure checks each BMAH listing.
Said addon would be conclusive evidence if everyone used it, but we dont. It is like saying: Wowhead lists item x as a 2% dropchance, which isnt true because the Wowhead database is filled based on the Wowhead looter addon. So based on that input. Also not being 100% accurate.
So those 2 things together, i would not call that âconclusive evidenceâ for it being removed.

And i already explained why if it is so important, for its uses / collection value etc you should have gotten it when it was guaranteed.
Instead of waging your chances on the BMAH.
Making the acquiring time very long or even impossible.
Since even if you check every EU realm, you wont have gold cap on each EU realm.
So when it pops up i am quite sure there are a few realms you wont be able to instantly bid gold cap to secure it.
And like someone said: a brutosaur each week on the BMAH would add â60 of themâ per year. Which is a very low amount.
Making it a huge gamble.

Those are 2 separate things.
It is not about being toxic, this is about people complaining and rolling an incredibly high rng dice to get it from the BMAH.
And the reasons people use, some of them include;

The spider was never intended as a gold sink. Which was confirmed by a blue post.
They basically said: with its weird vendor on a timer it would be way more effective to lower its price a lot to sell a lot more of them or changing the vendor to be âstaticâ instead of spawning on a timer.

The Yak however not being removed is something i can understand. Since it was a reforge mount orginally to change your stats on gear. Which was a thing in Pandaria.
When they removed reforging they chose to change out the reforge vendor with a transmog dude and keeping said Yak in the game.
Might aswell have removed it from vendor + give it a FoS + BMAH and change the 2nd vendor but they went with this option.

That doesnt tell me anything. Since you can get a lot of the mounts through a unclaimed black market container or their alternative source (AH / still dropping from raids)
I got my X51 rocket / Nalak mount / Abyss Worm from 3 unclaimed black market containers, which i bought for 400-500k each. (Of which i bought more than 50 now. I truly lost count. But these 3 i do remember. Rest was pets / useless items)
And the last 2 mounts Abyss Worm / Nalak mount arent even on the Wowhead page for loot from the container, because their is no data for it. (I used wowhead loot addon a lot but stopped at some point)
Not too mention multiple BMAH items are still in the game regardless.
Argent Tournament pets / Ashes of Alar and a very long list of mounts is still obtainable outside the BMAH.
I do believe it only is 6 or 7 unobtainable ones. Brutosaur / Naxx glories / 15 year anniversary Deathwing / Both pre-cata ZG mounts. (Maybe even missed one)
