Hehe yeah. But imagine the size of it all.
So I, Vulpera extraordinaire, at night put up my tent. Tent at night, no tents in the morning. Is important to state that. Walking around some dirty minds here.
Any way, I wake up in the morning. Stretch my tiny, yet strong, Vulpera muscles. Only to find out the sky is gone and it smells like farm animals everywhere.
And then I see it! Again a Tauren put his, or her, tent over my tent. The horror…

I dont understand why there really need to be any lore explanation. I mean, its not like every one that belongs to a certain race is a cookie cutter of all the rest or even follow the same beliefs. Adding choice to a character could even enhance the rpg side of the game and would allow you to make your character special in your own eyes.

I understand your point but there are far more silly classes/races combos, like void elf paladin or undead druid. And I won’t play if it happens.
Lore and immersion is why I’ve started playing this game in the first place
I agree with that to be honest, a void elf Paladin would be a bit odd, a undead druid would look cool though lol. But it is a role playing game and quite a restricted one when it comes to the class and race combos, I wouldn’t quit if Bob decided to play a void paladin he might of made a cool story up himself. Poor Bob.

…Humans can be turned into the undead, and thus undead druids are entirely possible?
Heck we even have undead elves too, since darkshore.
Honestly im all for it, lately been playing alliance mainly with friends etc and the class i enjoy the most is a shaman, so i mostly stick playing draenei although really want to play a human shaman, sure there are kul tirans but still prefer the regular human model since mogs fit on them more etc, nightborne can be druids of their own form (similar to how kul tirans have their own form of druidism which is from the drust) so like why not? sure, i myself won’t like to see gnome/mechagnome shamans but honestly it won’t harm anyone, if we’d go with the same mindset of “MUH IMMERSION” lorewise we shouldn’t have teleports to orgrimmar/SW in oribos but they are still there for gameplay reasons, races live long enough with each other and im sure some races would be curious enough to want to learn shamanism for example
i would agree some classes would likely to be restricted like demonhunters but even then why not open it up, it will be also alot newcomver/player friendly, i know so many people that want to play specific race but their favorite class isn’t available to them which can be a turn off to many people, honestly as a shaman main i can’t see why any other race can’t be a shaman, after all its a bargain with the elements, heck if goblins can be shamans why humans can’t be? and not every class that actually playable now fits the culture of certain races like monks for example, how culturally related are monks to a blood elf other than some panda taught them how to be one
and those who say “i will quit if they will do this” don’t you feel its abit exaggerated to quit a game for such trivial reason that doesn’t affects you personally? for RP reasons i already saw many people RP as undead paladins or human shamans so it won’t make a difference, such trivial reason to quit a game for if you ask me
