Exactly what i said. It’s just dumb af that you’re forced to keep your trinket only for the blind or you’re just doomed to lose if it happens to use it before that. Shoud’ve been adressed much much earlier.

Well, you gotta kick at the end of a cast now instead of early so lockout is longer technically.
They should just redesign specs that can’t play without precog, affli for example, and remove it.
Also why asphyxiate is 45 sec? It’s just worse stormbolt now.

2 sec of Kick on Shaman is a nice joke, more chance to pop precognition instead of do someone really efective…

Double this. Also we all know daddy blizzard will fin a way and make RMP and rogue broken as always been in past 19 years. Dont get your hopes too high.

Also how wild and bold changes are I love it. Blizz were too conservative as long as I remember. Would rather see big changes (yet not too often) shaking whole meta than moving bits of damage here and there.

So the control class no longer has the best cc… why isnt leg sweep, paralysis and intimidating shout in the list.

Tbh may be interesting to see but slowing the game and reducing so much cc seems wrong.
More healers may play now too.

Hopefully they compensate some of the specializations that heavily rely on critical strikes, such as Frost mage, Fire mage, Frost DK and Ele Shaman. Knowing Blizz though… I’m a bit concerned.

That said, I’m fearing the Asphyxiate nerf a lot. As a Frost DK 90% of my kills are through Asphyxiate into Strangulate.

Also, cool to see all the new PvP Talents, but where are the DK ones? We’re still stuck with only 3 viable choices, which we’re absolutely forced to take (Frost DK at least). Meanwhile, we have stuff like “Rot and Wither”, which makes your Death and Decay absorb healing equal to 100% of its damage done, except it ticks for 400 damage.

i feel like they put too many micro cc and ability bloated df but instead address that now they nerf everything for next changes :man_shrugging:

Like how he says “no one likes it, its terrible, everyone hates it” meanwhile 80-90% of people commenting at least want to give it a try. Now we know if a rogue doesnt like something - it automatically means no one likes it lmao. In my personal expirience saying “no one likes CC” is closer to truth.

1min cd baby stun doesnt feel like worth a talent imo, its like 1 second time to land trap on it and i can land traps without it too so idk if thats worth if cant prolong the chain with it

somebody said they would just use it on kill targets but i think i will play explosive trap on ~40sec cd rather when the game becomes zug with these melees rather than pick intimidate with 1min cd and baby stun

As a nub healer, I like these changes. Maybe I can play the game now instead of watching the coffee finish brewing after the silence, fear, stun, freeze, kick, clone, stun, fear, sap, blind, shear, stun combo.

im not 100% sure if these changes are good but keep in mind they are not that gamebreaking. Poly right now is 6.8 seconds. in 10.1 its going to be 6 seconds.
Only class that might feel the changes a bit more is rogue and thats actually good. The amount of CC they have is too much for the 2023 version of rogue.
Idk about the crit change i dont think this meta is actually too fast at all. If you play 3s you realize its in a pretty good state pace wise. It just gets chaotic in shuffle with no communication and high dampening but even in shuffle i rarely see people get oneshotted in the opener.

50k base dmg will be a 75k crit instead of a 87,5k crit.

Gotta wait and see if knock over stun will be viable. I’m a big knock enjoyer.

And yeah you can land traps without Intim, its better to use it to kill anyways, but for long range yolo baylife mlg traps its good to have some sort of short lockdown, and thats not always a given (especially in soloshuffle). Not to mention the Stun/Chimeral Sting combo will probably still be working.

the Crit nerf effects some classes more than others

  • Frost dk and Hunter gonna get gutted with that nerf alone

  • Rot classes like Affliction warlock and Unholy DK will be better

i dont use intimidation to land trap, i can trap without stun too, i use it to make longer cc chains

if i cant prolong chain with it then i dont know if its worth for 1min cd baby stun, might play explosive trap into zug meta with shorter cd and bigger impact than small stun rather
