Basically what Trille said on stream “if i could play my alts like i want, i would actually play more”. He hit the nail with this statement as it is literally the same for me.

And regarding their statement that they will not implement a proper catch-up for resistance: just spam the forum more. They will eventually give in. They did it with the essences, they did it with the cloak ranks and they will do it with the resistance.

Otherwise subs will most like drop because the content is clear and aside from playing alts there is not much to do for most people. I mean, i will try to get gladiator and the moment i got it i will take a break until SL if they don’t make playing alts more enjoyable.

Agreed with that statement.

I would see myself play a lot more if changes were made to catch up systems and actual prices of essences / corruption.

But i guess, its better to just do my weekly stuff on wednesday / thursday and log off till next reset and redo the same on my warrior.

Without bothering with alts. The grinding of currencies have gone to far to be able to play the game how you like.

You end up grinding / throwing time into grinds to complete x before you can run your preferred content.

The catch up mechanic for rank 1-15 cloak is working perfectly fine, after that there is no catch up mechanic anymore.

I’m going to disagree here. I was unable to use the 1 run per cloak level until I got boosted at R8 and R9. After that it went fine, and only because I did some raiding on my alt and thus had a few more mementos. You need 4 pages, which is impossible with only 45% sanity resistance.

I wouldn’t say “impossible” but most people (me included) don’t have a deep enough understanding of their alts to make it. Which is absolutely nothing to be ashamed about, but in terms of “possible” - it’s possible.

Suffer now get reward months from now when you are so worn out you won’t even care anymore and hate your self.

Yeah, wouldnt advise someone to try and do this kind of thing to themselves over the summer months. Even mobile games can have less steep catch up progression time-wise while pugging Nzoth on normal or higher can be some frustrating experience.
