Word of advice:
Don’t do that.
I’ve gotten banned for it, with the verdict that it constitutes trolling and you should just report a post if you have a problem with it (despite the fact that you only have a limited amount of reports at your disposal).
I appealed it, because no such thing is described as trolling as per the Code of Conduct, but Blizzard’s moderators are so far up their own butthole that they won’t admit their own mistakes.
So a precedence is set.
If you talk about reports, or mention that you have made a report, or appeal to reason to avoid reporting, or otherwise try to calm a discussion down, then that constitutes trolling and you’ll receive a ban for it. Because Blizzard are brainless idiots.
So don’t do it.
The forum moderation as of late is utter garbage. Don’t try to find reason or logic in it, for there is none.

If someone is verbally attacking you, to be honest, it’s because they don’t care.
It’s not a question about deserve, it’s a question about anger, most people can’t handle being wrong so they are very easily triggered when they feel that they are.
If you’re confident in your opinion, it’s perfectly fine if someone doesn’t agree with it.

Yesterday I was told by a guy that it was “no wonder you’re hated on the forums.”
Just because I disagreed with him.
I hadn’t called him names or anything… I wasn’t even annoyed with him.
I thought we were discussing a topic, but apparently I was being a butt

Pretty much unless they lack life experience imo. I was there myself at one point, different game/different forum but guilty of posting things only because I wanted to smell my own fart with those that agreed, usually in a rant format.
Doesn’t really get anywhere, good feedback and conversation does the same but can be more productive imo. You can spot these posts in an instant where an opposing view arrises and gets shot down with nothing but personal bias.
Have had plenty threads here now when we agree to disagree and it’s good really. It’s important to me to understand other sides to things.

Allowed : “Git Gud” , " L2P " ,“Lul”, “I suggest you suck less and play better” “looser” and other toxic / trolling word.
Post that the community didn't considered as toxic and totally not trolling
Disallowed : Being insulted and answer to that guys asking if he can get a better manner.
