First, ranged DH stun, then the hunt and fel rush that together deal damage within a global, basically the same moment.
literal one shot.
With 32,5% versatility btw. 226 ilvl with 235 leggo with haste/versa
And convoke, combust or ret’s wings at least give you some time to press defensive, you know. combust will never 100-0 you in 1 global. same for convoke. same for wings. I think only shaman’s burst comes any close to actually one-shot a fully geared player.
B4 anyone cries that I could have used my shields and wouldn’t die - with the priest spamming dispel 24/7 you effectively have no shields for such setup.
The solution is brilliantly simple - the hunt deals 40% damage in PVP situations. Tbh there is 0 reasons for it to ever hit more than 10-12k crit. but currently it hits more as non-crit.
I think the only reason there is very little outrage about the hunt is that dh are SOMEWHAT rare in arena but they appear more and more often as people discover this joke of a combo…
Don’t forget on top of the 20k+ hunt you will also get a dot that ticks for 2-3k per second for probably another 12k or something =)
unbound chaos is awful design and so is the hunt. The hunt itself is a really fun spell actually, should make it 30s cd but only hit for like 10k crit max.
Even when DH was s+ tier it had a low representation, it will always have a low representation since Blizz basically admitted they wanted it to be the kid class.
Beside, people complain mainly about the hunt, which is totally fair.
And finally, it’s probably gonna be infuriating to die from a DH as long as they aren’t more interesting to play, same with BM, you don’t feel like you deserve to lose, you don’t feel like you’ve been outplayed, you don’t think your enemy did good and yet, you lose —> infuriating.
#ScrapDH
Also outlaw would have a word about worst pvp spec, it didn’t even make it to several 9.1 rankings. But do you hear them ? No, they aren’t fel crybabies
Since I play both classes, I don’t agree. If you want me to tell you honestly, both are very easy to play like most other classes. Lately, the classes differ the most in style, and not in whether they are harder or easier to play because they are very similar in that segment.
In my opinion, the only classes that remain difficult to play are SV hunter and rogue. SV hunter because it is just difficult to play and rogue bcz of cds bcz almost all rogue cds can be used defensively and offensively, so you will notice a huge difference with rogue players depending on how and when someone uses them. Rogue had just been too broken for too long so that difference wasn’t too noticeable.
So stop talking nonsense about what’s harder and easier for once.
No need to check anything, just nicely put it all here so we can all see. I am especially interested in the part where Ion talks about how they want the class to be for kids. That sounds especially interesting to me, so if you can at least put that part here
