Grinding out this by completing all sorts of achievements, long questlines, and the reward is something like 1500 extra power per knowledge point.
Is this bugged? The reward is pathetic once you hit around 20. You can increase knowledge by 50% and you only get something like 15% more, it doesn’t even scale linearly. At 20 you get around 100K, at 31 it’s ~115K
It wouldn’t be the first time Blizzard did miss blindingly obvious bugs, as the issue with M+ rating this season showed…
I am in the same boat.
Was so hyped by all the videos saying - “Phase 2 will be massive, easy IP, going from 5 levels to 20 per day”.
Yet here i am, done the Kara solo, went to raid, got 325 fragments, crafted 3 mementos - 6,5 levels of the trait progression.

Now the funny bit, those at 99,999,999 are most probably still abusing some sort of the farm.
Bottom line is - there is literally no point in playing Lemix until the final phase when as they say we will get the fast-track for everything.
The whole Knowledge and IP thing is not rewarding by any means.
And making alts is not the same as it was in the legion.
P.S. Why Arcway +14? Good luck getting into +30 with anything below 300 vers. I was 120 when 150 was mandatory, reached 150 and the requirement was 250, now i am at 180 and it is 300+.
P.P.S. Hot take - if they are gatekeeping people anyways, why not gatekeep the max level of the artifact per phase? So everyone is +/- in the same boat.

I just did nighthold mythic + heroic
IP gain felt just the same as old raids, only difference is that there are more bosses now.
It is going to be hectic doing all raids daily

Doing all raids all difficutly should net you around 20 or close to 20 levels. I went from 205 to 220 and I only did Nighthold.
I was farming BRH even before Arcway became popular simply because of the spreadsheets

Based on Mythic versions of the raids:
EN - 7 bosses - 26-30 fragments per boss - lets say 200 in total
ToV - 3 bosses - 25-26 fragments per boss - lets say 75 in total
NH - 11 bosses - havent noticed how many, but lets assume same 25-30 per boss - lets say 310 in total
So, 200 + 75 + 310 - let say 600 - converting to 6 mementos - each gives 2 levels - 12 levels for all the raids.
So you could not have gone from 205 to 220 doing only Nighhold (unless you we keepin some before the raid).
And the most insane thing, we dont really care if you did Kara to get +2 IK prior to that, because it would only add 5k IP per memento - so 30k extra (assuming you were IK 28 and went to IK31)
Sure, by doing Mythic > Heroic > Normal you could squeeze - 600 + 300 + 150 memento fragments per day from all the raids on all the difficulties - that is 1050 fragments - 10 mementos - 20 levels. So i guess i am wrong and the videos are right.

I also love that you know better what I had… I started on 203 but had 99 in the bank so I counted it as 205. true I also had like 30K unspent IP still…
You also forget that bosses can drop between 1 and 5K IP as well that can add up if you are lucky. 600 gives you 13 not 12.

heroic+mythic all raids
in total IP gain felt double of phase 1 (around ~20 levels a day)
it still feels low
at 200 artifact levels, you need additional ~40 days of daily grind to cap with current raids only
however since Tomb and argus coming up
i might drop heroic farm entirely starting tomorrow and just do mythic raids daily and later catch up with tomb and argus.
the question is
do i really want to do this daily for the next 40 days just to get the cap achievement?

I’m 999% already so it might sound very biased but it’s just how it works.
If you make a group listing for M+ spams, you get to decide the efficiency, you get to decide the classes you want. Let’s say you plan on running Neltharion’s Lair, well you’ll most likely contradict what you’re saying and pick a 280% DH over a 300% Brewmaster Monk purely because of efficiency which you’re well aware of as well.
Do what you want, it’s as simple as that, no one’s stopping you and no one’s forcing you.

I am rogue with 106 versa now and I got invited every time when I want run m+ in to 30s with 84 vers which is easily achieveable. Especialy rogues are non-played, like off-meta class. Still u can get pretty ez groups.
Maybe you are on to something… 33 Knowledge is impossible to get during this phase, so there is the reason behind this bug.
You already have more knowledge than the achievs currently available can provide, thus your IP gains are somehow miscalculated. Blizzard should really fix this ASAP.

I mean the most problematic part of this issue is that they will be unable to recalculate correct amount of IP for ppl being left behind due to this bug. There are some people who got hit even harder week ago getting extremely low IP gains with proper IK.
So what I do expect is some flat boost of IP accross the board for everyone affected no matter how hard you got hit.
So some will gain more, some will gain less. It will be the same like when they lowered all the Froggers 2.0 to 10 mil IP, now they will boost all the affected accounts by fixed IP amount. I have no idea what this amount should be tho.
And also the question is if they will be able to distinguish between affected and unaffected accounts.
That knowledge is super terrible designed for power gains…
What are you talking about, 34 is the max Infinite Knowledge cap for phase 2, luckily I’m 999% vers already but this bug happened to me too. Phase 1 I had 28 Infinite Knowledge and was getting 112k per 100 fragmented mementos, now at 34 Infinite Knowledge I’m getting 94k which is super frustrating for the people that haven’t reached max % yet.
I am talking about the cap for Phase 2 being 32 Infinite Knowledge, not 34. So you obviously have more than intended. You had 28 and new obtainable achievements from Phase 2 add additional +4, not +6.
Sounds like a calculation to put diminishing returns on IK knowledge flipping over on itself mathematically and starts to go into the negatives on higher levels, usually this means a formula wasn’t stress tested.
I’m not an insider tho I’m just describing what I think I see.
I already felt like getting more IK wasn’t really worth the squeeze past 20ish, noticing how small the gains were from 20 to 25
There’s a post similar to this on the US forums, this post, a user claiming US have a 1 hour emergency maintenance pending - don’t see anything for EU though. Doesn’t seem to be anything released by Blizz either about it. Another day of hoarding fragments I guess!
