It started going downhill with wotlk. Removal of lfg channel, forcing everyone to sit i lagaran. Then they made the lfg tool, and the nail in the coffin was x-realm lfg

The gameplay got a lot better after wotlk. The game as a social MMO rpg with a strong server community went downhill in 1.12 with the introduction of crossrealm bgs.

No! Didnt affect anything on the realms. Everyone still knew who the a-holes were. And if you were a misbehaving t*rd? Well you got isolated on the realm.
The social part of the realms died with x-realm lfg. Now the a-holes could be a-holes unpunished by the community.
My bad, i forgot they’d have from the start of wrath to the end unlike the #nochanges classic start at the end and bodge it.
