3D accelerator issue Help

So have recently bought new gaming laptop ASUS ROG strix II

i7-8750H
Intel Processor
16GB DDR4
Memory
GeForce RTX 2070
NVIDIA Graphics
256GB
SSD
1TB
HDD

My game seems to crash every so often with the error message about 3D accelerator, it’s only on classic wow, I’ve turned off all overlays , tried reinstalling graphics card, I have most up to date version of windows 10

Can someone please help me out really struggling to find a solution.

I upgrade my drivers recently and it’s worse, anytime I change resolution or move quick it crashes.

Try closing everything else down.

WoW sometimes won’t start due to a 3D Acceleration issue if i have a browser open, Discord particularly seems a problem, but even a browser without Discord on a tab can cause the issue, I close it down and the game starts fine. Other games have thrown the same problem up fortunately a Google search found me a forum thread that said it was to do with Discord which lead me to the solution.

Been there, go to your wow folder > classic > right click to wow.exe run it as admin.

Turned off both these and still nothing , I’ll add there’s an internal graphics card that’s used for low battery mode but I’ve made sure I’m using my rtx.

I’ve tried changing settings in nvidia control panel

I’ve turned off GeForce experience overlays and discord

Now I get on wow but as soon as I change graphics settings to ultra my wow crashes with 3D accelerator errors when my pc has more than enough spec to run

Bro, try to close discord. I mean from the task manager. End the task…

Open wow and test
