Then why does raid give 475 ilvl and rival rating 455?
How many hours do you think that top pvp players put in to be good enough to get r1?
Yes they do, in fact they have to if they want to be as strong as they possibly can and push as much rating. And there are many pvp players who cleared 12/12 mythic for gear, and exactly how many mythic raiders have r1 titles?
No I won’t because I am not a tryhard tournament player who plays this game for living so when I get bothered enough I will just quit the game like a lot of other people did already.
Literally everyone can do mythic + 15 weekly now and first 3 bosses mythic stop trolling.
Lately ive been reading a lot of junk on these forums just to clear it up:
485 from mythic nzoth is not fair.
It would be fair if there was a chance of getting the same Ilvl in PvP/M+ but since there is not it’s simply not fair compared to players who spend their majority of time doing said content.
PvP is 500x times harder than PvE and especially raiding.
Raiding is NOT hard it isn’t. especially if it comes to personal performance. It’s all about time and hoping that for your first kill the 19 other peoples are for once not retarded and are doing their things right at the same time together. And this basically just requires following tactics and playing with eachother together. Let’s not even come to that when you get gear all of PvE content is getting drastically easier so with time especially now 485 ilvl is not anymore justified.
Raiding never has been hard it is just a big time consumer and comparing raiding with pvp is a literal joke.
In PvP what matters is what YOU are doing there are not 19 people who can make up for your mistakes (small hint that’s why rbg is also the easiest bracket)
Your decisions matter your class knowledge must be on literal point for every specc which you might fight against in PvP your knowledge of corruptions/combinations must be on point you need to know what the enemy team is doing/wants to do so you can accordingly react. If you can’t in most of the cases (unless you play destro/DH) you die. The point where you start getting better is when you can survive games against good players or make them for yourself quick. (unless you face destro/dh/mw)
This alone is why pvp is harder than pve in every aspect and why not pve junkies can jump into pvp and gain success as easy like you could do in pve (unless u play DH)
No one that’s rival max goes to 2.4 that fast for the first time in their lifes, especially with a trash speck like UH. I play with LFG every day. Every time i play with someone like you it’s clear the first 45 sek of the game how they obtained that rating. Also looking at your comments, it removes every doubt i could possible have about it.
no but i have around 475 ilvl eq on main from doing visions,m+, proffesion, pvp weekly loot. im not even close getting glad since i see no point trying when you meet destro/x 10 times in a row. i got to 2.3k cr last season and im just chilling playing with friends atm while doing 1 arena win per week for cap like everyone else is doing atm.
i seen many streamers and casuals doing arena with gear around 475 ilvl so i would guess the average players that is doing pvp is around that mark.
you can get to 475 while being a casual, nobody is forcing you to mythic raid or do m+15s to get gear advantage in pvp. its up to you.
Cause pvp gearing sucks, I mean I’m not at fault here, I’d put rival at 465 ; duelist at 470 ; low elite at 475 and 3k at 485, but I’m not on the team of people that decide this
Less than what mythic raiders have to per season/raid tier. Look at me for instance, I barely play (compared to you lot with 5 characters) yet I got it, but still missing M’zoth.
That’s fair, do what makes you happy in life most of all.
Key word is now, content is nerfed, people are overgeared ; it would be comparable to arenas if you could be 15 ilvls ahead of everyone else in all of your matches, but you can’t.
These are literally the introductory bosses to mythic raiding for this content patch, if you can’t clear them then you’ll have worse issues.
That’s part of the difficulty, coordinating with more players at the same time requires better game sense in general.
and I thought it’s cause the same ~40? people are the ones monopolizing the ladder and sniping newbies.
Can we buff unholy so I can have fun ?
I’m such an insane PVE player my skill translates into correctly doing my PVE rotation on a target in PVP until he’s frustrated enough to let me win.
The difference is in PvE you don’t lose. You don’t get worse, you can only improve upon your raid encounter where in PvP either you do it right or you lose.
Idk what is going on with RBG at the moment as I never had interest in it because windwalkers weren’t ever asked for this bracket but this was not my point
You do have to get people engaged in some way right?
They’re paying money to create that content you know.
PvP has had an arena map or 2 every other expansion, and everything’s pretty much the same
Aside from Maut trinket I don’t think any other item is problematic from those bosses, then again you do need an incentive to raid, otherwise you’d be back to rolling the dice for the same M+ trinket you’ve been using the whole expansion, but this time with 10 ilvls higher.
And the joint effort of 20 people overcoming a scripted scenario outweights that of 3 people overcoming a dynamic one which constantly adapts?
You ever realised there’s a reason why the starting mythic bosses eventually become free and anybody can do them? Same reward no matter what.
Imagine if you received loot based on your boss kill time compared to every other raid group in the game. It would be insanity.
The difference is that as a season goes on, getting mythic kills becomes easier, but climbing rating becomes harder. At least somewhat true, due to gear scaling of contestants, but also the average rating increasing.
People who claim PvE is more difficult compared to PvP are delusional. This is not rigged encounter against brainless NPCs.
Your mood matters, enemy’s mood matters, RNG matters, arenas (maps) matter, if you los your healer for 1 second accidently then you are dead, if you fail to interrupt 2 chaos bolts you are dead, if you can’t reflect Greater Pyro you are dead, if you can’t time all your CC properly against DH you are dead again, if you are under cc when a tentacle spawn around you or your healer you are probably dead again,
so… There are too many variables when it comes to PvP whilst rigged encounters are always the same.
Stop fighting guys main problem is that you need to do pve even if you are pvper. Eassence from bgs being bis for pve players is also wrong. Just let us play the game its game not work. If you like pvp play pvp and vice versa.
Maybe start thinking and listening to feedback from players and not some avtivision manager.
