I need all the tips and tricks in the book to get the brutosaur mount before Blizz removes it. It was a mount that was going to be a long term goal for me. But now they are removing it for absolutely no good reason.

I’m a big mount collector , i’m working toward the 450 goal , so yes mounts are important to me. Making gold has always been a progressive thing for me aka just playing the game.

But 5 million … it takes alot more than just playing the game.

No i can’t afford to buy 700 euros + of tokens and sticking them on ah. I am aware of that but that’s also beyond my means. So no need to point that one out to me :slight_smile:

I tried the transmog thing for a month and a half. Transmog just doesn’t sell , i was breaking even on it. I had at one point 9 million gold in value on ah. Making 16k a week from it , bassically just paid for my ah fees. Incredible tiny gold profit from it. When i decided to vendor it all a week ago , on my excel sheet i had made 21g profit from 2 weeks trading , reposting every 48 hours and some undercutting when i was online. I feel most people have got the mog they want or they would rather just go get it for themselves instead of paying 30k + for pants. But that’s my experience on tmog. Not saying it doesn’t work i’ve seen the youtubers , i’ve seen people make alot from it. I’m just saying it’s not working out for me and the time re-posting all of that felt like a waste of my time.

Anything would be welcome. I know it won’t appear over night , but i’m litteraly going to have to stop raiding and doing current content to get this mount.

Nope. But playing the AH is definitely a way to make money. Just figured I’d ask whether they’re open to doing it via the AH minigame or by actually playing the game.

My amateur gold tips; If you have them already try re-grinding some of the boe mounts, they always sell really well. Also pets sell good, I made quit some nice cash with those.

If you have any rare profession recipes try making those too and/or the profession mounts.

But the easiest way is just buying things relatively cheap from the AH and re-selling it for more

Kk. Well 21 alts is a lot. So if you’re willing to be patient for the 5 mill, you can just use them and them alone.

Raid finder all Mop followed by all Wod on each alt once a week. Those two together take little time (garrison for wod, fly to shrine for lore walkers for Mop). Conservative estimate of 9k g for both. Increase by about 4.5k for every additional difficulty you do a full run (all expo raids, start to finish) obviously these take longer due to having to travel to actual location. So let’s just work with the full RF clear for now at 9k for Mop and wod.

If each char does this in a week, that’s 189,000 gold. Each char should take about 45 mins to do both. So that’s 945 minutes or 15 hours 45 mins of playtime needed to achieve this (obviously depends on your playtime).

Every month that will yield 756000 gold if done for all chars every week (give or take based upon the fact my 9k figure is rough).

It will take between 6-7 months doing it this way to get the 5 million gold.

This is assuming no mats harvesting, no AH flipping. Just raids and vendoring. Again, no assumption of heroic, normal or mythic runs,doing those too will take more time, but shorten the time frame.

It’s a Liberal approach that will net you the money before the deadline. It will be very monotonous however as you’ll need to ensure you do it every week and the method will be repetitive. With my approximate time taken as above, it works out at about 2 hours of gaming required every day minimum if you game all 7.if you do more runs or play longer in a session, then obviously this will change for later days in the week.

Also worth noting given they take like 10 minutes with flying, gold emissaries on each alt when up, for 21 alts (assuming same faction) each time one is up that’s 42000 gold, which is almost five chars worth full raid finders of mop/wod, so you can do it in addition to, or use it as a way to quicken your time played by doing the emissary and running the raids with 4 less chars that week each time you cash in the emissaries (if you get more than one a week).

Which ever way you look at it it will take dedicated focus. The only way to focus on both playing the game itself (content) and making money is by having a huge godl reserve already so you can play the AH and make money whilst out and about. Even then though, to maximise profits you need to stop undercuts and buy deals as they emerge, so making money has to be your focus. No surefire way to make 5 million without it being your core focus unless you’re rich from your wod days.

there’re 2 things you can do imo to make that much gold.

  1. you start boosting
  2. you start advertising boosts

either of them or both for more gold.

Here’s an idea. Buy WoW tokens for real world money and then pay your monthly sub with in-game gold. Do that until you get your money back for the tokens you bought. 230k is a lot easier to make

Herbs, ore, flasks, transmog, draenic invisibility pots, old recipes and raid pets are what I make most of my gold from.

There’s a the fairly decent amount that comes from having multiple characters with capped HoAs. With the emissary quests often rewarding 2k for 4 quests per character, the weekly IE mission that can give 5k gold and always offers 5k gold as a bonus objective and the 3-5k you get from paragon caches. Also the 2k gold you get from a failed bonus roll.

Then there’s the mission table that offers a constant stream of 150-400 gold missions if you get bonus objectives. Don’t forget to get your followers to legendary and give them the herb+ore gatherer equipment, that provides a decent chunk of my herbs and ore passively.

I’d advise farming vanilla zones/dungeons/raids for transmog, they tend to be in the highest demand. Some people will pay through the nose for some of the most hideous mogs, simply because of how unique they are.

Another good one is old daily cooldowns from previous expansions. Stuff like Lightning Steel Ingots, Jard’s Peculiar Energy Source and Living Steel either sell directly or can be used in the construction of heavily time-gated mounts, pets and unique BoE mog items.

The jelly from the Honeyback Harvester reputation did sell very well, but I’ve not put any up in a while so i can’t attest to that still being the case.

With that many alts, its a wonder you even have to come to the forum to ask for help with gold :stuck_out_tongue:

Do WQ with 2k gold as rewards.

Do pet battle WQ with tokens, buy vendor pets, sell them on AH.

And ofc, as ppl are saying, i heard that there are a lot of gold in some old LFR raids, like 9k+ on each alt.

If you do have some geared alts, you can even sell boost (tho, with this AV event going on, i dunno how many gonna buy a freehold boost nowdays for 20-25k each lvl, lol).

I did have that kind of gold , but i splurged last christmas xD bought myself wc3 reforged , gifted it to 3 of my closest gaming pals. Bought us all black ops 4 on pc with the gold. Since i wasn’t doing much with it except hoarding it. Bfa was boring and uninteresting. Also i happened to be very drunk xD i thought Happy Christmas boys!
That was all my wod and legion class hall gold.

Addict or just played the game a long long time. Also mained an Alliance and Horde quite a few times. Swapping for each expansion.

Good luck. I honestly hope Blizz change their idea regarding this mount.

Unless you are earning at least 13.5k a DAY, you can forget having that 5 million before expansion hits.

I currently am close to 1.5 million. The removal of the mount is absolutely ridiculous.
