Ive leveled 2 from 70-80. 1 from 1-80 (warrior 3days played) and now im leveling my pala, and a hunter from 1-80 currently at 32. My main has 4300gs, my 2 other 80s has 3900+. If anything, wotlk has a much faster leveling (with the squish), much faster gearing then any previous version. Stop being lazy. Get some heirlooms and 1-80 is faster then what 1-60 was.

The issue with levelling in Wotlk is that it is 70-80. 1-70 is vanilla and TBC.
Even if you only started playing Vanilla in Classic that’s still literal years of experiencing that content.
It’s a fine experience if you’re a new player. Otherwise you’re literally doing content you’ve done recently and instead of stopping at 60 and doing vanilla stuff you know you have to just keep on going.
That’s why it makes sense for people to level as efficiently as possible 1-70, which makes the world seem dead and further makes it a less enjoyable experience to level normally.
WOTLK in particular is designed with the idea that there is both millions of players that are level 70 and millions of players that are brand new to WoW.
And reality is that in Classic WOTLK, the new players are just new to the expansion they’re not at all new to WoW and even still, there isn’t even that many of them.
It’s pretty much why Cataclysm rebuilt Azeroth, it wasn’t to try and make a better 1-60 experience it was simply to make a different 1-60 experience.
50%? No. The prepatch 10% buff, yeah I can get behind that.

Better idea, don’t put buff XP increase directly like they did but put more Heirlooms stuff instead.

I’m talking about a permanent brewfest buff. JJ did not transition into live Wotlk, but I can see why you may have thought that’s what I meant.

Absolutely not, heirlooms ruin the dopamine rush of getting gear upgrades, they’re not actually good for the levelling experience.

Then make it a trinket or a tabard or something. Something I do not need to get or equip or have trouble getting rid of.
Where’s the option to level more slowly? Reduce XP gain?
Why can’t I have a debuff that nerfs XP from quests and mobs by 50%?
It seems you speedrunners keep getting everything you desire, your P2W boosts, your XP boosts etc. But what about those of us who actually enjoy the levelling experience? Sure we can go to SW or Orgrimmar and keep on paying for experience locks (I’m assuming this is now a thing in WotLK Classic, as it was back in the day) but that’s a very clumsy mechanism.

No heirlooms ruin my lvling experience because too the xp is too slow and heirlooms give me fun with taking more mobs at the same time.
