You had your chance to level alts with the Joyous Journeys buff but you missed the boat. Sorry not sorry.

That only applies to nerds that have been playing the same game for 3 years

This is why it would be smart to make an XP tabard like the one for the Birthday. This way you could happily equip it and I could just as happily delete it.

What most people replying to this thread actually mean:

“I have a lot of time on my hands to level my alts so if you don’t, tough luck”

Leveling is a pain in the butt. Some of us did this so many times we lost track. A small XP buff won’t hurt anybody. It will only hurt the ego of some “classic players”.

Yes some people would like to play alts but really can’t put the time in for it. It’s not laziness, it’s a damn long way from 1 to 80. Vanilla Classic waits for all you hardcore lovers.

I really LOVE levelling, so yes an XP buff would hurt me. I have levelled or am still levelling in excess of 100 characters. (most long deleted).
I don’t mind anybody else having a buff if they want to, But I most decidedly do not wish anything to do with XP buffs in any form, kind or flavour!

This is why it would be smart to make an XP tabard like the one for the Birthday. This way those who want could happily equip it and I could just as happily delete it.

Joyous Journeys was optional too

If you want to level fast, just olay retail.

They should do -60% xp on wotlk to simulate how long it truly took people to level to 80, and emphasize the journey not the destination, instead of catering to adhd adolescents who want immediate 80.

No one cares what your ‘started in WoD’ dumb self thinks

Noone cares what your ‘started in shadowlands and thinks its the best version of the game’ thinks either bruh

Sure thing, except your bitterness about being told to go back to retail is obvious

To be fair, it wasn’t overly clear that you could cancel the buff and it was on by default.

Yeah I don’t know why it was default to on, that’s not how buffs work!

What bitterness?
Retail is casual friendly and has really fast levelling. Perfect for OP.

Wotlk is a different game.

The bitterness is from OP demanding we all need to play the game he wants, instead of him just playing retail.

Look I already know you started late, got insulted for playing retail on the forum and have acted out since.
So you won’t get any arguing from me, I’m aware.

And that’s totally fine, I am cool with tabard or any tool that is optional. I am also ok with just minor buffs not major leveling boosts, to keep the world alive for people like you, who enjoy leveling.

To be fair here, I played lots of private servers and they generally have an increased xp rate. I must say the world is alive and lots of people level and make alts. I see no issues with this.

Retail world is dead because it’s too big and very little of it is relevant for the current expansion, unless you’re farming collectibles. This can’t be said about old expansions.

Dude, we’re playing WotLKC.

Then dont bich about making levelling easier.

You dont play Snakes and Ladders to bich about not being able to buy properties.

Thanks.

I have never played any Pservers, mostly what I’ve heard they are PvP servers and have loads of "Q"oL changes, so not for me. Same with Retail. Don’t play. I log in on my old main on my old account (now belonging solely to my SO) once a year to have the Birthday Achievement.

I haven’t?

I’ve complained about it being boring as all hell cause they took away a major levelling tool from the original that’s about it.

Levelling is part of the game.
50% xp buff wasnt in wotlk.

If you find it boring, maybe this isnt the gsme for you.
