that has actually happened! iāve seen people say they miss the old weather effects in azeroth that just happened randomly, and then others saying the new effects are better.
how heavy do you want your rain?

Because the alternative is depressing?
Imagine that no one cared.
or maybe they actually care about the game and are pointing out obvious flaws so that they and us can have a better gaming experience?
Then Iām afraid this is goodbye.
I donāt know anyone that quits a job they actually cared about and give positive feedback as to why.
Do what I say or Iāll quit (threads) isnāt very effective when itās just you quitting.
i have worked with many who have worked as nurses and admin for the NHS who started off the job because of the help and happyness they could bring to other people. but working in such a system has beaten them black and blue and created such apathy that now they just look at it as a paycheck, and usually a secure paycheck. i can also think of 1 doctor and 2 police officers that have gone through the same thing.
even my own industry, i enjoy sometimes what happens in it, but the pay and the approach by middle management etc has made me just look at it as a paycheck and im wondering can i go to another industry.
all of those have given reasons to their supervisors about why they no longer like their job.
im sure they are not the only people on the planet in that situation, especially atm.
errrā¦ but its not just them quitting? or else WoWās sub numbers would be even higher than they were in 2010 instead of being bolstered by the eastern market? and people dont even need to quit. just taking breaks shows the point. i personally did not play:
it all adds up. and it shows. i was prepared to play 2 or more games at the same time as having an active sub for TBC/WotLK, but more recently i will let my sub just drop and take a break for weeks or months.
If this wasnāt the first expansion i played since the beginning (i started playing WoW half way through Legion) the things that would make me quit would be:
Gameplay:
Lorewise:
On a additional note, Blizzard really dropped the ball on the Alliance Allied Races, we asked for vanilla ice cream and got blueberries.
Overall, just so people donāt think i am just bashing on Blizzard, i will applause them because many of the things i donāt like are getting fixed in Shadowlands: Weāre going to have less systems outside of your class, less RNG on loot, they are working on class design so i imagine the unbalance will get in control, ILVL will matter more since were not going to have badly thought gear ideas like azerite pieces, etc.
In the story, weāre going to meet a lot of characters we havenāt seen in a long time, and it the focus of the story will shift away from factions, and that is a big win for me.
Thank you Blizzard for showing youāre learning from the mistakes youāve made in BfA, now you gotta rethink the covenant system.
Thatās been in the game since TBC.
I just wonder sometimes, was it that the Legion model(be it legendaries, artifacts, daily caches) so bad that it needed the BFA changes? For example, we had the three day emissary runs added so that someone can go and do them in one. It was a result of the expansions-long boredom with doing chores since TBC daily. How did the BFA model with three emissary + mechagon + assaults come up to be seen as an improvement?
The only way so many things since the BFA alpha would make sense is if it turns out that this expansion was made worse on purpose so that we have some good/bad expansion rotation for the same of keeping players on their toes. Not sure if thats a thing but who knows. WoD was arguably still the worst but at least the lack of chores made people feel like taking breaks - this rng layer with full time job engagement rather makes one wanna quit altogether.
The reason i liked Suramar city was that that place was not a complete pushover it was not really that hard if you were careful but it was not like other zones either i would love to have more open world endgame zones that are filled with mobs that are not so easy that i can watch 5 minutes of youtube and come back mobs that have barely managed to bring me down to 80% of hp.
Notice is did not say always was but is now, please learn to read. So I am not āfalseā, you are.
We have no choice.
Edit: I also think the OP wonāt be back after his first post.
Well sure everybody is entitled to their opinions and good for you if you like the wow as it is now i just liked the game which had lots of RPG elements and fun stuff to customize my gameplay and character instead of what we have now.
I canāt believe you didnāt list Pathfinder here, itās the biggest timegate in the entire game. A whole year for a basic quality of life feature.

For the rest, I hate the current WoW and the only thing thatās keeping me subbed is Classic. Waiting for SL though.
Just logged on and my mailbox is empty, This has the signs of a classic troll, one post which is a āI quitā post.
Iām on the same realm as the OP too.
Last part of OP seems to indicate they may come back for SL, so understandable they may want to keep their gold
Unless grinding is being removed, but it isnāt is it?
I entirely agree with you on this point. There need to be more open world end game places such as Isle of QD, Suramar and all the others that have been introduced over the various expansions. The issue is that you canāt make the whole world to that level of difficulty or danger.
However even Suramar got easier and easier as one gained better and better gear.
I think most of us are used to some sort of grind in game play, maybe they are hoping for ālessā grind - I know I am
