Also, Pathfinder design. Withholding flying mounts for a year or so is horrific.
Itā€™s the primary reason why i donā€™t play WoW until x.2 or even x.3 patches anymore.
I do the launch content such as loremaster, explorer, reps to exalted. Then Iā€™m done. Iā€™m not going to grind endless world quests and mythic+ dungeons without a damn flying mount available. I did quit like that in Legion and BFA. If they donā€™t change it in Shadowlands it wonā€™t be any different for me.

Actully i know people who play only at start and in the end and never ever play whole expansions coz of grind and other stuff. Its not enjoyable for manys and i can understand them.

Played 7.3 and played 8.3. Nothing in between. Flying is one of the resons.
The other being bad classes with no stats (esp haste, i hate slow GCD) and the grinding which is usually not that bad in the final patch. The worst grinding usually happens on launch which is why i never raid launch content. Last time i raided the first tier was in WOD.

But 8.3 have much much more grind then BFA launch. Even Legion start was an easy walk.

Then donā€™t use your flying mounts, or mounts with wings, until after you have unlocked flying.

I donā€™t think that any system will be perfect or will please all of the player-base however I can totally understand why the devs donā€™t want flying and why the majority of the player-base do want flying. This, to me, is the current best solution to an unsolvable problem.

I donā€™t agree with the servers. I rarely have any lag. And the time I do itā€™s an known issue and they working on it.

I came to this topic expecting a song like the 12 days of Christmas about his reasons of quitting.

Ok, noted.

Reasons I still play WoW:

  1. Freakin love this game!

Just an alternate spin on the title.

I find all these relatable.
I only keep playing retail right now to do the 5 masks clear once and maybe to get +15 on time on all the dungeons.

Has the OP actually been back to this thread?

My mail is still empty, Iā€™m starting to feel they are trolling us.

Yep. Itā€™s a cheesy way to keep players subscribed.

It is not going anywhere in the first place.
But i agree with your points, they are hard to ignore.

But bots are the future in this game. It is made for bots.

Itā€™s literally the same, we just pretty much got an option to enable/disable pvp servers. And itā€™s not that simple to ā€œjust not play on oneā€. People started playing on pvp servers when pvp was in a decent state, and now itā€™s garbage. Expecting them to pay for server transfer or start a new character on a different server from lvl 1 while leaving their guild behind because of the state of the game is ridiculous.

I havenā€™t quit but I have some points I dont like:

Time gating, specifically as this hurts new and returning players significantly. There should be increasing catch up each reset, the cloak catch up is just poor when its only 1 extra per week, so many weeks down the line it just feels frustrating.

Borrowed powers will leave classes feeling gutted (after already feeling gutted after the last expansion) while we have gained nothing of our own, since when does my character stop progressing? More levels is superficial as the content scales to me, nothing is added/gained. Not sure why some of the traits from artfifact/azerite/legendaries couldnā€™t be baked in after they are ā€œdisabledā€. Nog asking for everything but some of them really enhanced the playstyle of some specs and made them feel more whole.

If his subscription has ended he canā€™t post on the forums.

Two words: Night. Warriors.

And 1% of the wow players, aca elite hardtries.
