I dont mind farming essence, but something like conflict and strife which is BiS for basically every class, then gating it behinde 6 weeks of arenas in best case scenario to get is…lets just say the idea behinde this is utterly idiotic.
I hope for the sake of the compnay and their survival they learned A LOT From Beta for azeroth.
I might feel like this cus im getting burned out from the game, have hardly pushed a single score or key in the past weeks. But then again the whole idea behinde forcing ppl to do something they have 0 interest in is an idea a mindless zombie comes up with.
The funny thing here is u cant even buy rank 2 of an essence on another char while working on rank 3 in the meantime.
They keep saying player agency is important in Shadowlands, its in blizz own interest to deliver this.
Its not hard to get any essence, its just time consuming and takes time for no reason. I think a lot of ppl would play more if it wasnt cus blizz keeps forcing down paths the players dont want or like. I have friends who wants to start playing beta for azeroth again but just the thought of them farming everything from neck lvl to essences, and cloack makes them think otherwise in an instant.
Yes, the grinding for multiple expansion feature systems are still a pain. There are so many weeks/months of farming before you can even start enjoying for example rated PvP.
Dont have to provide anything, if u had any game knowldege ud see basically every spec use it as minor. Regarless how u see it, its one of the BiS essences for the majority of the specs.

You want to divide it like this? list specs for who this essence is bis in open world also? High raiding, low raiding, high m+, low m- just to fulfill the list. Also as minor it shouldn’t count as it’s only stacking buff which is not gamechanging anything, this versatility is not worth whining on forums for sure.

BiS minor doesn’t mean anything, stacking versatility is just flat damage increase, doesn’t give any deepness, it’s like having an enchant or not having one, it’s not worth to cry about, if it was about major which gives pvp talent then okay. Cya.
It’s not 6 weeks so? It’s actually the same system as the M+ one. Get rank 2 by reaching 1k rating and then 3 weeks of weekly cap if you are 1600 rating+.
So still I dont understand why they try to force PvErs to do PvP and vice versa. As a PvP player literally everything comes from PvE atm (that’s also why this probably the worst arena expansion ever)- BiS gear, 80% of essences, cloak leveling.
im 1568 atm. And i Agree with u, forcing player doing stuff they dont like, just cus blizz wants u to “explore” is never a good idea. Im sure players alrdy tried X content before and decided they dont like it
