A lot of classes pushing high keys take C&S as a minor because it is good all around, pushing both offensive and defensive capabilities.
He does not have much to prove, everyone can go check all the class guide or jump on the respective class discord and a lot of them will tell you to slot C&S minor.
Is not like the claim he made are some 600 IQ, hidden from the majority. It is pretty common knowledge that C&S minor is super good.
People before you that said that he need claims, just show that they have poor game knowledge regarding essences.
I 100% agree with you, I am not really a fan of rated PvP, but I mean as a PvEr I don’t really feel like complaining for 1 essence (BotE was way more fun to do Imo) since PvP Players got the low end of the stick for like 4 years straight.
yeah. its sad but i just have accepted that i will never get r3 because i suck at pvp big time. so i guess im stuck with using r2. sad thing is that i cant even use r2 on my resto shaman. really dont like when i have to settle for second best. always got this idea floating around my mind that i am not doing as well as i should and im not good enough. so glad when this nonsense is gone in shadowlands tbh.
How about 1 months gates to get the corruption u need? Its the same, its common sense mockery. They need that u will play the game a long time.
Actually farm in BFA is out of controll, even start expansion, wich i understand in therms of farm was way way better. Now its omg, u need farm this, that and this and that, and mb this, and ofc that! Even Legion start was an easy walk in compare of with BFA end.
Usually when I see things like this I just don’t bother, it’s not worth my time and effort. I won’t get that bis. I can accept the grind if I actually like it or it’s behind something I enjoy doing, but if I have to go out of my way and grind something I don’t like grinding just to get something I need, I call that a design flaw. I’ll accept being weaker rather than doing pvp for instance. Done that for the pvp leather set, it got me so nervous I wanted to quit (both because of pvp and the rng of the set that wouldn’t let me find the pieces I was looking for). In the end, I didn’t complete the set and gave up, it was driving me insane.
Yes C&S is not “mandatory” by the fact that you can live without it … like any item & optimisation in the game.
It yet remains the essence who grants the most versatility without any downtime or requirements ( unlike aegis, for example, where you need trash around you).
Versatility is also the most important secondary stat for tank since it is (almost) the only defensive one (other provides defensive benefit but not as much as versat). Moreover versat is magnified by corruption this patch … which make it even more important.
So yeah I do agree that locking behind a lot of PvP grind such a strong essence for all pve activities is kinda bs …
And yeah food grants secondary stats buffs … but food do not take an essence slot & you may have both at the same time, so what is the link ? I don’t get it
Same goes for crucible … a healing is not comparable to a flat dmg decrease … it is just not the same thing.
