leveling is part of the progression. you level, you get equip, you get stronger.
yeah, in my opinion you sound quite unreasonable, sorry.
i dont know why you would want to skip an inherent part of wow. the price tag clearly indicates its nothing you should use on every character you create.
if you want instant gratification, then there are other games out there.
if a character boost cost 10 bucks, i mean, i cant imagine how many bots and ad spammers you get in the lfg tool at max level.
well, sometimes you have to take the good with the bad. so you either pony up the 60€ or bite the bullet and level ~5-10h a character.

Thank you for your opinion on something that literally isn’t even a topic here
Boost cost = thread
Your opinion on MMORPG philosophy = who asked

Then go play dungeion crawl. You are one who plays wrong type of game so you have no right to ask anything.

I am explaining it to you, as you don’t seem to have an understanding about it.
Hopefully you appriciate the advice of someone wiser than yourself.

Thanks to you as well for recommendation on games
I will definitely not listen to you either
But you and the intellectual above can go and make lists of games to recommend to people together, I sure won’t stop you
Character boost shouldn’t even be a thing in a serious MMO imo.
This is how you progress to F2P style of games. Make boosts easily accessible, sell gold, then sell some accessories, some mounts then before you know it game perks make their way into the shop.
Leveling may be an outdated concept but it’s a core part of an MMO and they made it really easy in Shadowlands.

You’re the only one giving reasonable answers to the thread, so I’ll give you an honest response
I already did the “inherent” part of wow multiple times
I wish when I want to play a class to not have to do the same trivial thing again
If this sounds unreasonable then ok, but again, that’s not even what this thread is about, but about the price of skipping this which is priced at 1.5x price of the entire expansion pack
The bots and ad spammers can be cleaned from the game if Blizzard wanted regardless, but they do not, and that’s an entirely different discussion
Also, conveniently they started getting rid of methods where players could boost eachother.

Did they? I see “Selling leveling boosts” all day in trade chat.

They recently did some some new rule so that you can get banned if you have a character or account that is only for advertising.
But ofc advertising in LFD tool is already against ToS, and those are still there
So we see what happens in the long run

If there is somebody genuinely selling leveling boosts at the moment, they are selling piloted boosts which is illegal. It’s literally not worth buying any leveling boost at the moment, as they started stealth nerfing 10-50 dungeon boosting via party syncing (nerfing exp and tons of old items), and other methods such as Azerite Armor buffing low level players with a Brewmaster Monk pulling all mobs in Hellfire Ramparts and putting down an Ox was also made weaker.
Hm alright, I understand. There’s rumors they are going F2P soon, since they’re planning to add WoW to consoles. Who knows honestly… I hope not.
The point of the boost is for people with money to throw at the game so they can save time.
They will never reduce the price permantly but they will continue to do the so called sales and give free boosts for expansion purchases.
Well, the only evidence I have is this thread … but probably, yup.

Sutram really is the absolute definition of someone sticking their fingers into their ears and just yelling “NA NA NA NA NA!” while shaking their head.
In one sentence it says it hates the concept of leveling from 1 to 60.
Fair enough.
Then complains about 60 euros a boost.
Equally fair enough, why WOULD Blizzard make it so easy and cheap for people just to simply level from 1 to 60 in a second via a 10 euro transaction.
Then proceeds to throw a tantrum at everyone else who tells it, (correctly) that leveling from 1 to max level has ALWAYS been the main goal of a new character.
Not only is it designed to give some sort of progression, but it should also “train” you in using the character’s skills, tricks and tips etc. Ergo when you do reach max level, you should be well on the way to mastering that character’s skills, and not just a dead weight to other players spamming the first spell that comes to their action bar.
Now if you’re going to be so obtuse and stubborn when perfectly reasonable explanations are given to you, and you simply dismiss them out of hand because you don’t want to level except by handing over 10 pence per character…
I just don’t know what to say to you.
So have I. So has I would daresay everyone else in this thread. So has millions of other players. The point still remains however.
Not everyone has. Are you going to let some absolutely brand new player who has played wow for ten seconds, walk into end game without the slightest clue about what they are doing?
Think carefully and be careful what you wish for in the future.

considering leveling takes like 6-10 hours right now, there pricing it at like £10 an hour which is fair if your to lazy to level. like, its for lazy people with jobs who aint got the time…if you got the time why would you ever pay it xD
Only scrubs pay for boosts, it doesnt matter if its with gold or real life money. Most people who play boosted characters generally don’t know how to play their class at all.
Besides that leveling is part of the game
I’m ngl they’ve been destroying dungeon exp far longer then WoD prepatch when boosts came to wow.
You could always see it happening as vanilla levelling (before SL 1-60) was soo fast with dungeon exp. But from that moment on dungeons became slower and slower then questing.
