Queues back then werent this long, but there were alot more DCs, buggs etc

the problem is all the people using those softwares that keep them logged in while they are away.
i can currently point you to a hundred people from my discord, a dozen of them being RL friends of mine.

No it’s not. The problem is that there are way more people who want to play than there are room on the current servers. It’s 100% blizzards fault for underestimating the popularity of classic.
