What’s the problem with just launching the servers and letting us play?
The banner is up every week, and every time we have a maintenance. You can find my last post about it here.
Please make sure you’ve set the settings to English (UK) if you play on EU servers. 
managed to log in, but all the servers are offline. Oh, and no banner, and I’m on English UK)

honestly twitter is just a mess, I don’t know if it’s because I’m not logged in but posts are never in the correct order and I can’t for the life of me figure out if there’s a way to filter them in a specific order. There’s like 5-10 years between every single post.
It’s precisely because you’re not logged in. They’re trying to strongarm you into creating an account by making it horrible to browse without one. I don’t know why companies still use it as a communication tool with their clients.
Battle Net should say - usually does say. It is the primary touch point for entry to the game.
I am here because there was nothing to advise me that it was maintenance.
I came to check that it wasnt an issue with my ISP, and some routing peculiarity. Had Battle Net said everything was under maintenance still or what the expected duration was. I wouldnt be here. X/Twittter is no way to communicate service status.

It’s the voidweaver nerfs, they are so substantial and fundemental, they take 8 hours to process by the servers 
Every language setting should get the banner. That it only gets shown to a single language setting is horrible. What is Blizzard thinking? Other languages don’t deserve to know what is happening with the game?!

Realm status site is showing all of the servers finally, all offline. So I’m guessing they’re about to get restarted.
Pretty nice part of the EU doesn’t use English (UK) or any kind of English at all (out of the approximately eight languages supported). Therefore, saying that there is enough information in ONE (1) language setting (even if it is the ‘main’ one) is quite… debatable.

If nothing else, at least this extended maintenance has highlighted the issue that a lot of us are just not seeing this banner no matter how many times they insist it’s a thing.
To reiterate - Launcher set to EU. Language set to UK English. Has always been. Logged out and back in. re-checked all this settings. Still no banner, no info. Just the launcher.
As a quick aside - I don’t use twitter (X?) and I feel like I shouldn’t have to go to third party anything to see the status of the game.
Edit** Anyone else getting this 18GB download?
