900 gold lost because of AH

Long story short, because blizzard don’t take actions against AH abusers i lost 900 gold on 5 x potion. I was in hurry, AH and stormwind was laggy as usual. Some abuser put potion with 2g starting bid and buyout of 900 gold. Although i sort items with respect to buyout price somehow i clicked on it and bought, i always double check buyout price and confirm than, seen nothing different and lost 900 gold on 5x potion.

Is it programatically possible for blizzard to avoid these ? If it is, why don’t they prevent it happening.

It’s a free market and Blizzard will not intervene by "price capping’ items if you’re suggesting that.

There’s already a warning when you’re attempting to buyout an item, I recommend using an auction addon as well.

ok if it is a free market, from now on i ll be scamming on AH, check 3x times before you buy something fast sells.

It is not considered a scam when you bought something for the listed price. Even in this case, is a ridiculously high price.

Since no scam occured, it is not against any rules. What are you asking Blizzard to help with?

I know blizzard won’t help because they are bussy counting subs money.

Mate. This is on you. Double check before you buy something. LOL

This really made me laugh… Making public your own stupidity really is golden! Well done on both! (getting blitzed + crying publicly about it).

how it is my stupidity ? I said i checked the price before confirming, and i am 90% it was normal. Maybe you should consider your reading skills before calling someone stupid.

Response even better. The gift that keeps on giving! So you checked & still paid it! Amazing! :ok_hand: p.s I can read just fine, as I’ve never paid hundreds of gold for a few potions.

If you considered your reading skills maybe you wouldn’t have paid 900g for 5 pots?

Yeah thread title should be ‘900 gold lost because I can’t read’! To create a forum post about it? Fair play to highlight there are unscrupulous people who put stuff on AH, but your own fault, nobody elses.

Forum is always a good place to see mentally struggling people, so i never hesitate to open a topic about anything.

You’re the one blaming others for your own mistake.

Questioning other people’s mental stability is incredibly hypocritical of you.

No scam and no abuse.
Stop with this victim behavior.
You are responsible for your actions.
That auction was posted with a visible price. You clicked it. Enjoy your item.

No it is not result of my actions. It is lack of honor issue which is not taken cared by blizzard. Some people who lacks honor put potions for 900 gold in AH and blizzard do nothing about it.

Forum is a joke, there are only people who seek attention. Please stop behaving as if you possess 150 iq because you don’t.

there is no difference between stealing money from someone else’s pocket and putting potion to AH for 900 gold. They are equally the same thing. If you think otherwise, you should consider the education you get from your family.

I am sorry but it is exactly the result of your actions. You saw the auction and you clicked it.
Just deal with that and move along, no need to keep punishing yourself for this. It happens. It is just a game.

Blizzard dont ban scammers is not result of my action.

Stormwind lagging as hell ( probably because of AH canceling bots ) is not result of my action.

Buyout price not seen because of lag is not result of my action (probably the one i buy has been bought by someone else at the same time and game automatically bought the next one which was standing for 900g ).

Except if you steal somebody’s wallet they don’t press a button that says “yes, here take my wallet” like you did with the auction house.

Your analogies are as stupid as the concept of your thread.

How do people still fall for this lmao get recked

They’d just have to create a confirmation window where the game would ask you “The price of this item seems anormally high, are you sure you want to buy it ?” for any item with a huge percentage price gap between the bid and the buyout and these scammers would get rekt.

But hey, this is Blizzard we’re talking about, they won’t do anything to protect their legit, honest, and faithful customers.
