It is so stupid that it looks like wow writing team job , so prob true.

Yes, this would make N’zoth 8.3 End Cinematic look actually good in comparison.

That is stupidly ridiculous!

Ahm how credible is this source because it contradicts the actual decripted dialogue found in the 9.2 files

Spoiler

Where Pelegos becomes the new arbiter

Spoiler

The arthas part in that quote is already sort of contradicting that given the encounter with Anduin is against Arthas as hes the one mind controlling Anduin.

Yo. How to do spoilers. Explain. I forgot.

I’d call bs but this is like a teen girls self inserting Mary Sue Sylvanus fanfic. So its right on the level of the wow writing team…

Well it’s 4chan so it could either be real, an abandoned work in progress, or someone’s elaborate fake.

Well if Sylvanas were to become Azeroth maybe someone will write a steamy Magni X Sylvanas novel or something.

That only allows me to do summary for some reason.

Edit: Ah its the same poop just with you editing summary to spoiler. Oh by the gods.

Summary

I mean, it’s not far off to think that Azeroth and Zereth Mortis are one thing actually. Sylvanas shattering them helm created a fracture on Azeroth sky, not somewhere in the universe.

The Titan decision idk. They actually destroyed Ysharaaj and only decided not to continue after seeing what kind of damage that caused. Algalon would have sent a message to the titans to actually destroy the planet. So idk if that is the reason.

I doubt tho that a soul of a little being can actually be used as a replacement of the world soul itself. Arthas feel forced into this story.

The creation of the infinite dragonflight was by Nozdormu’s hand when titans showed him his own death and the Old Golds took advantage of it to make Nozdormu go crazy.

Type “Spoiler” or whatever you want where it says “Summary”.

In “This text will be hidden” type whatever you want to be hidden.

It’s dimensional impossible

That guy without wings? A plottwist nontheless

Yes but

This spoiler game is fun

Sylvanas becoming the world soul or whatever that will let everyone choose their afterlives kinda defeats the purpose of an Arbiter doesn’t. And we know for a fact that Pelegos becomes the new Arbiter because of the datamined text from 9.2.

Spuuuuler

Exactly.

And the part with Arthas makes no sense given we are fighting him in the Anduin encounter as hes the cause of Anduins mind control as he was the one forged into Kingsmourne. We are literally damaging him during the encounter as he has manifested himself.

The Part with the old gods would be an extension of current lore. Which could work. But from what we know is that Aman’thul decided not to kill the other Old Gods because they spread too far into Azeroth and killing them would cause Azeroth to die. Zereth Mortis wasnt their concern. Azeroth was.

Also the Titans (and especially Sargeras who laid eyes upon her) would have realized that Azeroth wasnt a Titan in that case. This hasnt happened.

Then as you said we know Pelagos is going to be the next Arbiter. So nothing changes. He may look a bit more into each soul unlike the cold machine the Arbiter was but nothing major is going to change as he alone will decide to what afterlive the souls go.

The “time paradox that creates the infinite dragonflight” also doesnt work because their origin was when Nozdormu saw his death due to his powers and fell into madness while trying to find a way to prevent it. The time paradox was caused by Nozdormu himself given his original death, the one he was shown, during the end time at our hands was prevented from ever comming to pass due to his actions during Deathwings death as his action made the end time as it existed an impossibility across all timelines. Also the way Deathwing died became impossible.

I agree with your break down on why it doesn’t make sense with the previous lore but we also know that Blizzard are more than happy to retcon (especially in SL) the previous lore.

True. Im still going to point out the flaws in their lore regardless. From what i said i can argue about the Arthas part (like if we free him as a result) and that the Old Gods could work as i said. It just wouldnt make sense from the Titans PoV. So that shouldnt have been their motivation. The old one is more than fine.

But that doesn’t matter to Blizzard.

Small rant incoming

Ok during the Uther questline in 9.1, we learn that Uther for some reason was a bad Paladin because he forgot one of the 3 sacred tenants of being a paladin which was “compassion” and when he faced Arthas he only saw him as an enemy he had to kill…

According to the “old” lore that is false, Uther had Arthas dead to rights and the sole reason he didn’t kill him was because for a moment he saw Arthas as his protege and friend again and not as the hearthless killing machine that he had become, which gave Arthas the opening to kill him right then and there.

Sooo why am I telling you this ? This “Old” lore is from the Rise of the Lich King novel writhen by Golden, the same person who is working on the WoW lore right now. I have no idea if she actually worked on that specific part of the SL questline or not but freaking hell they had direct access to the person who wrote the original lore in the first place and they refused to fact check this. And that’s being generous if she didn’t work on, if she actually did its even worse.

And lets be fair, the SL lore is full of wholes and there will be even more craters to be found in 9.2. Especially with the

Spoiler

Titan making machine.

Small rant No 2.

I really hate that they are removing the fantasy element from WoW and making it into some disjointed Sci Fi fanfic.

Given thats exactly what ret palas do the take was dumb anyway. A ret paladins job is to deal retribution to those that are deserving (which means straight up execution most of the time). Look at Tirion for instance. If Uther would have told him “you need compassion for Arthas” Tirion probably would have bursted out in laughter.

Yes Uther wasnt a Ret Paladin so to say but him turning into one still makes him a Paladin. A Paladin with the intention of punishment.

Spoiler

Its a facility for the Eternal ones. So far the Titans havent been mentioned. And they better not be. Its way better if they randomly spawn in the mortal plane because of magical reasons rather than getting crafted. The Eternal Ones we knew straight from the start were created by the First Ones. Their power is also absolutely laughable compared to the Titans we have fought so far. At best they are on par with the Titanic Keepers like Odyn, Ra-Den and Loken save for empowered Zovaal.

Spoiler

This is fun, oh sorry no spoilers here.
