The number may be not exact, that was just an example, but I hope I can convey my point to you.
Depending on class, you might get a few good looking sets (or combinations) and weapons. That’s it. While the game has over 50 sets in the set section alone, with various color types, out of which only like 3 look decent.
And out of those 3, 2 of them come from older expansions and are extremely low poly.
What is blizzard art team doing? Why do those ugly set exist in first place? Like look at the mage set from nighthold for example. Who in his or her mind will call this set pretty? I have seen exactly zero people wearing it. Everyone can understand that it’s ugly. Why was it even made in first place? Why are such sets 95% of the entire game?
Put the pretty sets in the shop for 20 dollars for all I care, but at least make them pretty. It’s not that hard to not make ugly sets, and yet you keep making them. Just look at the most recent sepulcher set. Who likes this? Who wears this? Maybe the elite pvp DK set and mythic paladin set are ok, but what is the warrior set ??? what is the mage set??? WHY?
Gladiator(now elite)/mythic sets look good, pandaria CM gear looks good, random classic questing gear looks good. Really now that i think of it i think most gear looks fine and it’s basically just dungeon and normal/hc raid gear that looks boring.
I’d say it was pretty close to accurate.
I’m concerned that Blizzard will keep adding amazing transmog sets to the cash shop, like the Celestial Observer ensamble.
Mail ones are good.
My biggest grief in this metter not just the lack of good looking mogs- after all ,tastes are different - bur the lack of “unify colour” option
There are tond of good combitaniton, but the colors simply kills each other, or anoyingly, there are a tiny bit of shade difference that eventually start to hurt your eyes
Would be nice if with one click of a button, your set colors match, all other would looks like one of the chose piece’s color
I’ve played wow since launch and noticed with each new expansion the style of transmog is always different and suited to the expansion currently out “obviously”. Yeah there are some ugly ones around but ive seen some amazing ones too, + you can play around with mixed sets/weapons to your desire. I’m satisfied 
I miss class-themed sets. I never liked exp/patch/raid-themed sets.
I like my style, it’s becoming kind of iconic. It took me a while to assemble though
while I do have criticisms of a lot of the gear sets, I think a core issue is how they’re applied to character models, they all look stretched or too big in areas, it’s rare a gear set looks like it actually fits.
it be nice if we could change colour of our items they are so dull give us a colour pallet as the side of trans mog that be cool so at least we don’t all have to look the same
This. Also poses are important, most characters just stand there like stockfish most of the time, I am positive even ugly sets would look much cooler with better idle stances.
Class sets were also based on the expansion.

Not always, like in legion for example. Those were pure class-themed sets and also one of the best, if not the best.
Aren’t those high defenition remakes of old sets?
Yes MoP challenge mode reskins without the really fancy shoulders usually.
All legion sets were class-themed, t19, t20 (remakes) and t21.
It is about taste I guess.
I mostly like Legion sets, if there’s nothing there for you, what to do 
You do realize taste is subjective? Not saying that everything looks good in my own perception, but labeling most as “trash” because you personally dislike it, doesn’t mean it is that way
