A farewell to mage

Kind of. But you can scale these things.

In BC I think we were generally healer constrained (and a few gear checks). Two packs means two sets of shadow volleys, 50% healing debuff, 10 second silence, charge-stun-berserk and what have you.

Spamming was an option but mana pool was a serious boss.

Anyway, I simply wanted to bring examples beyond more weapon damage and how they affect huge pulls.

I appreciate your initiative.

But always remember that M+ has a timer. It’s not the game mode to stop and sheep mobs.

You can think of M+ as a 40 minute long raid boss. If that makes any sense.

So basically, the game mode to stop and sheep things, like in Vanilla, is Delves and Raids. Those don’t have a timer.

Yes. However. Infinite scaling.

Those 3 mobs you mention, even if you sheep/sap everything perfectly will scale to the point where they 1 shot tanks.

And im not talking about a +22. Im talking about “easy” levels.

If you want to keep M+ like today. That failure of players in lower levels dosent imply instant death… you need to nerf the damage.

However. If you nerf the damage for easy levels. What happens with people that don’t fail? Those will chain-pull 3 of those packs and successfully pull it off. And that is what M+ is today.

The “old school” way of doing this is more punishing for the average player. That’s the TLDR.
