Anyone noticed that a lot of people on Shadowlands Gladiator mounts play like complete trash? or just me?
Edit: I’m not saying all players mounted on them are trash, I’m simply pointing out an observation as of late that I see people on the mount, who don’t seem all that good. I’m sorry if this offends anyone

Which kind of shows how trash you must be playing for your best achievement in 3s to be 1750 since 2011.
Are you surprised? This expansion has been 1 meme season after another and to top it off the last season was allowed to hyper inflate to numbers we’ve never seen before. By the time the season ended glad was literally the equivalent to old Rival.
It’s not a over exaggeration. It really was that low. BFA already wiped glad of its prestige but Shadowlands took it that much further. Glad at 2400 would of been fine had the seasons been similar in length to those that we saw in Legion.
It really should be moved up to 2700. Keep elite at 2400 for each bracket and push glad to 2700+50wins or just revert it back to the old %system.

It’s okay though. My point was proven by SP3KTR4L that rating has been insanely inflated in comparison to older expansions, and now everyone and their nan’s dog seems to mount on them, and I can’t help but smile when they get clapped like some 1.5k player. Which most of them are
Not really, I just find it rich that it’s often those that dont even have a single elite achievement calling sl glad noobs in the most virulent way possible. It’s only ironic when you call those that have achievements when you don’t even have any for yourself. You should be more respectful to others.

Ebon Gryphon is the best mount in the game by a very large margin

Rating does not matter. When I’ve reached 2100 in the second week, it was roughly #900 on the ladder. When I’ve reached 2500 last season, it was very far close to the #5000 I reckon.
I’m more proud of that achievement than anything before that point if anything.

of course raiting is inflated, people were 3.8 last season, thats the highest its ever been.
however, if we take older expansions as example, glad beeing cutoff meant, compared with the fact that raiting was way lower back then, that ppl got glad at 2.4 or even lower depending on the expansion.
so yeah, also dont forget mounts are accwide, not everyone plays 24/7 on their mains.
so if you clap someone on the mount whos just playing on alts thats kinda 4head
That’s my point. Spektral up here with almost a 1000 rating difference from top end PvPers who somehow think they’re decent. I don’t have gladiator mount, and I also don’t think people that peaked 2.6k when inflation has never been higher deserve the mounts.
Thus this thread. It cheapens them massively, especially when people run about on them like Spektral who’re struggling to even knock on 1.8k in 3’s after the MMR reset. Which again proves my point.

you can argue that ppl that push at the end of season have it easier, thats true, but start of season? please. pointless to complain about raiting right now, since mmr inflates with every week, so yes, you are timegated from pushing raiting.
2.1 is like top 1k eu right now, compared to end of season where 2.6 is around top 5k
It’s always fun seeing these threads, as they’re typically made by people that never managed to climb themselves.
Whereas Glad mount has obviously lost some value, it’s still wild that people struggling below 2k will try make the achievement seem entirely worthless (Feels a bit like jealousy, with the whole “they’re trash but they have it, why dont I” aspect of it all) 
Lost some value? sorry, but is this another SL gladiator? As for jealously, totally jealous. So jealous I’ve not even stepped into a 3’s arena in over a decade. Really desperate for those mounts
