Yea you do run into ppl like that from time to time.
For me its just an extention of my charcter lips laps rejuv pots whippers dark runes ect.
Reactive zanazas too, its all just part of the kit same as grenades, disco rays sappers sands or engi items & trinkets. Passive stat buffs oils elixirs and flasks I have no issue with either.
The only thing id say that would raise my eyebrows alittle is if somone was using petri flasks proactivly. Only encountered that 2-3 times in all of classic.
Not that I see anything wrong with that either, just that nobody really does it with the sheer ammount of effort neccecary to pop them with any sort of consistency.
Free Action Potion = anti-mage consumables. So yeah, if you want to duel, it’s better to not use it. Whole goal of duel / 1vs1 skirmish is to get better mechanically and spamming consumables it’s not gonna make you better, even if there’s a large skillcap in potion timing I agree.
Things is Classic gameplay is so limited that the skill difference often come to get the best decision.

If thats so engi helm and rocket boots shouldnt be allowed too in my opinion in a 1v1 then it Should only be normal gear + whatever trink u want
Using FAP in a duel is a pretty noob move TBH. As a rogue you can beat a mage without FAPs. Unless you’re some lame PVE spec.
