I find myself watching Rings of Power season 2 as it is currently more appealing than tanking mythic +. This is a new low.

While I sympathise with your suffering, I’d still suggest using that time to do something more uplifting. Don’t inflict unnecessary pain on yourself

Pls don’t hate on Rings of Power the 2nd Season was very enertaining, but yeah the last time tanking felt that terrible was Shadowlands S1.

Not only tanking. M+ at all. It’s so incredibly bad at the moment. 2bad Blizzard killed my alternative with the Zekvir nerf. I would really like to try a M+ solo queue like with pvp. No idea if it will work or it will be fun, but I would really like to try it. Things that come to mind are:
- If there is a tank/healer shortage, that role could get a buff where loot is guaranteed or maybe they receive double the crests or each dungeon run counts as 2 for the vault. Something to promote the missing role(s).
- You can loose rating, but gaining rating is faster than losing rating.
- Finishing a run outside the time will lose you less rating than quitting the run.
- Finishing a run inside the time but slower won’t lose you rating.
- Each party member can vote after a finished run if they really liked another player. The player with the most votes gets a bonus item and each player with a vote gets a little extra crests.
- You can choose the dungeons and difficulty you want to queue for. You can only queue for difficulties one higher than you completed within time for that dungeon. So if you did a Stonevault 6 within time you can queue Stonevault up to 7.
- There can be voted to end the dungeon. 3 out of 5 or 4 out of 5 are needed to end the dungeon. If you leave without a successful vote you get a debuff on your account for 30 minutes. This debuff will prevent you from queueing. The more often you get this debuff in a certain timeframe the longer it will be.
Blizzard should be able to come with a better solution than we have right now. Even better (at least for me) would be if they find a way to let me achieve everything via Delves (myth track gear, achievement that gives me mythic track glow on all tracks).

This community does not tolerate losing anything, and I wouldn’t entrust them with picking the color of my toilet seat, let alone voting for anything in game that matters.

Thats funny seein the current itemization in game is still so good in making you Waist Time in game.
im sure it will be very brave and stuning flop of show
but still probably better experience then current m+ seaosn

Tanking isn’t that bad, your just not used to depending on the healer, you’ve had it to easy for to long you’ve become lazy.
Plus late game m+ 8’s and up the tank can pretty much self sustain just needs a few heals here and there but that’s from my own experience.

Yeah lets ignore how some trash can nearly 1 shot tanks in 9 upwards shall we and most bosses can hit like trucks and also that fort and tyran are in same keys.

Am i the only one that doesnt feel like tanking is terrible ?
I feel like whole m+ is bit boring because of lack of diversoty due to affixes ( i would swap that 15s death time for something bit more interesting on rotation) . But that is m+ as a whole , im fine with tanking as it is

Hm tough question indeed. Would i rather tank while feeling different emotions depending on the situation but also get something out of it or just literally fall asleep? Like actually fall asleep. Decisions, decisions…
I would rather have zero content if rings of power is the content we’re getting. I love LoTR like the next guy but also love different tv shows. Remove the LoTR aspect and you only get a crappy written show. Add it and it’s even more insulting. Even looking at it as a fanfic doesn’t excuse the writing.

But he is right tho, it’s all about Defensive usage as a Tank, same goes for DPS the second there is a Add with AoE Rot Damage YOU HAVE TO USE Defensives, otherwise you’re just straight up dead.

Even though I don’t tank on this character, this Season has made me not really bother trying to get into M+ groups. I’ve just got not interest whatsoever.
Blizzard has kinda shot themselves in the foot with this iteration of Mythic+
