Well, to be fair: One does not rule out the other.
Depending on their character customization and heritage set, I might actually be very interested. I like the slightly creepy nature vibes these guys have and it would be cool for a Drust themed hunter imo (I just love the Drust aesthetic and vibe and I hope we’ll see more of it in the future).
And then on the other hand, I would LOVE a pandaren update and also more options for all the races - especially allied races.
When they’re making a feature like housing on top?
You bet it does. Overhauling race models is not a quick process, especially because you should have something new and neat about it. In my opinion, a race models overhaul with cloth physics would be amazing and is absolutely something they can do. But they need time.
Depending on how we can make them look I might make one for fun but certainly not as a regularly played character they would need a super awesome racial for that.
I only play forsaken and the only race I was willing to accept are the ethereals.
Oh, I didn’t mean from Blizzard’s perspective.
I meant from the player’s perspective. We can want to play haranir and also want overhauls for some other races. That’s what I meant.
They’re part of the Horde and are called Blood Elves.
There is also a Splinter Faction of traitors called Void Elves.
Blood Elves are literally High Elves, with a different name. But it’s just never enough for you Elf Fanatics. You got Void Elves, but cried they couldn’t be Elf skinned. So you got Elf Skin colors. Then you started whining cause your Racial would sometimes remind you, that you were void.
With Silvermoon now becoming a Hub, with specific zones being Horde Only. The Dream of ever getting High Elves dies here, unless the High Elves are a Horde Race. As it wouldn’t make sense High Elves wouldn’t be allowed inside all of Silvermoon. But it does make sense we don’t allow Void Elves in, as they are Traitors.
Enough whining about high elves, seriously. You have void elves and blood elves. Enough is enough. I for one is very happy about the new race, will definitely roll one as a druid.
I have characters of all races. Played since the beginning so I have tried almost everything by now. I prefer smaller characters though cause they don’t fill up the whole screen and get stuck in doors.
“there is high elf its called blood elf and void elf”
“u got silvermoon neutral. go rp high elf”
hello? high elf dont belong in silvermoon. its why they are called high elves. they exist next to void and blood elves with an identity of their own as exiles, rebels and scholars.
I know what you meant, but as customers and company we’ve gotta meet somewhere, and that housing feature? It’s taking A LOT of man hours.
So we can want both, I get it. I’d be fine with both, Haranir doesn’t bother me as such. I just don’t think it’s a good way they’re spending their resources.
That gives no sense. There are high elves in the game at this very moment that are not blood elves notably Veresa Windrunner for example and many more npc pre tbc. Some are even in stormwind city but before tbc they used night elf rigs.
