A question about Shadow Weaving as mechanic=?

Afaik, shoudn’t the Shadow Weaving from Priest talent in shadow tree procc on damage ticks from shadow word pain? Atm ,it only proccs on a inital application of shadow word pain…

Can any1 enlighten me pls? It says 100% chance (when fully talented) to procc of damaging shadow spells.

Shadow weaving proccs when you land a spell and not when it takes damage.
