it’s still a bit of a hassle for public roleplay that it requires people to complete the raid & form a group due to phasing.

With the reset earlier today, the final arc of the 10.2 campaign is now accessible to people who have not touched the raid.

The downside of this is that the people doing the victory party quests are visible, even to those who have completed that quest. So you can’t walk around the central encampment at the moment without running into a dozen OOC players just running around.

For what it’s worth, the OOCers are mostly confined to the feast and ritual areas. It seems that for the feast, only the NPCs and tables are phased, while the players aren’t, so you see them running around serving invisible tables.

It didn’t preclude us having RP near the lake shore tonight, some distance away from the OOCers. And the rest of the zone is, of course, practically ignored.

There are, however, some phasing issues. I was accompanying a group of Nightblade Sentinels along the road, and at one point they all suddenly phased out, then they phased in again as we got closer to the lake. Then they intermittedly phased out and back in as we were talking by the lake. Inviting me to their group fixed the issue for good.

I was accompanying a group of Nightblade Sentinels along the road, and at one point they all suddenly phased out, then they phased in again as we got closer to the lake.

The Tree immediately after leaving the Dream carried some of the Dream™ with it and is just making some people zoink out now and then.

[A-RP] Amirdrassil - New Home, New Hope

Amirdrassil, “Crown of Harmony”, will be a new night elf area on the Dragon Isles. Though some of us wish their shiny hub would be in Kalimdor, let’s try make the most of what’s given, and live the big developments through our character’s eyes. Amirdrassil is going to be a beautiful zone, with new tales to be weaved around it. [image] With the holiday buzz calming down and people showing much support for the interest check, it’s time to have some public role…

Inspired by these details, there’ll be an event for donating study material and equipment to help school new night elf mages and lorekeepers in Amirdrassil.

I was thinking of doing something like that if it wasn’t on the menu - will happily be partaking then, an excellent idea!

Update:

Dragonflight Patch 10.2.5: Seeds of Renewal Overview

Because patch 10.2.5 will likely go live on the week starting 9th January, moved the first event (Drifting Dreams) from 10th to Sunday 7th! Because the patch isn’t massive, we’ll keep Stocking Up in Stormwind on Friday 12th.

We’ll soon announce dates for the other events.
