Excited that January is filled with events, hopefully there’ll be RP to be found daily around Amirdrassil thanks to your efforts now! Hope phasing won’t be a headache and if indeed there’ll be more than 40 RPers the other raid group can stay in the same phase.

If you’re interested, Morningtide and Jai’are have created a Discord server for roleplay in Amirdrassil! It’s not specific to this event series, and if phasing persists on Amirdrassil, it may be very useful for finding roleplay outside events.

I’ve barely looked much into RP events for the past few months, but it warms me greatly to see you pushing events for the upcoming Amirdrassil updates; I had a feeling somebody would do it, and I’m not surprised it’s you.

I’ll try and get this toon up-to-date for the first event, if not, I have my alts. Either way, I’m actually hopefully of what the future brings.

New Portals to Bel'ameth - Stormwind and Emerald Dreamway

" In the latest Patch 10.2.5 PTR build, new portals have been added to Bel’ameth allowing quick travel to and from the Emerald Dreamway and Stormwind!

In the upstairs area of the Stormwind Portal Room, a portal to Bel’ameth has been added. There is also a portal back to Stormwind."

Fingers crossed that soon everyone and anyone can enter Amirdrassil even on low level characters! I just tested on PTR and it works with a lvl 50 and lvl 19 character, but we’ll see if any level or quest restrictions apply when the patch goes live. For example on live, the Valdrakken portal requires level 58.

For the first event through, which most likely happens before the patch, one still has to have Amirdrassil unlocked through campaign quests.

Patch 10.2.5 Seeds of Renewal Launches on January 16th, 2024

We now have an official release date for patch 10.2.5: it’s January 16, in two weeks from now.

Fortunately, from what I undersand, it doesn’t affect the events, since the ones that require 10.2.5 Amirdrassil start on January 20.

The events will proceed as planned yes, we placed most of them toward the end of the month in case the patch would be delayed.

People who’d like to join the Stormwind trip also don’t necessarily have to unlock Amirdrassil for the Stormwind trip event, since we’d only spent a moment there gathering up. Hopefully the DM’ed shenanigans will be entertaining especially for the type of characters who rarely visit the city!

Reminder that tomorrow the event Drifting Dreams happens in Amirdrassil! Here’s a map showing the location (also a pin for the starting point for Stocking up in Stormwind happening next week).

Because Amirdrassil is phased right now, please whisper Acrona to be invited into a raid group! Since my priestess is on my 2nd account which isn’t currently active, and she doesn’t have the zone unlocked, I’ll be using Acrona OOC and portray my alt Hidani Stardew In-Character.

The priestess will share some words, after which characters are given a moment to think of their most ardent hope for the night elves’ new home. The characters will write their dream on a piece of bark or parchment to be carried by small nature boats on the stream coursing through Amirdrassil, and people will be given the opportunity to speak their hopes out loud as they set their boat afloat.

Also, the wonderful Meladriss is going to take over hosting Where the Druids Slumber event at the end of the month, thank you so much! Druids, don’t forget their [Druid event] - Emerald Assembly - 13/01 happening on 13th in Moonglade!

Tonight! FYI, if there’s more than 40 people coming over to Drifting Dreams, Ryldor has kindly promised to host a 2nd raid group if the first one gets full, so that nobody would end up all alone due to phasing. I’m confident we’ll fit in a single one, but just in case!

Tomorrow a group of brave elves shall embark upon the trials of city navigation, social skill and backpack burden!

Stocking up in Stormwind is a light-hearted DM event for a small-ish group of people, with characters helping some of Amirdrassil’s craftspeople - busy providing their services to the growing number of settlers - get sorely needed supplies. The focus is in providing an immersive and stark contrast to the night elves’ society, and will hopefully be entertaining if your character rarely visits such bustling melting pots as Stormwind.

If there’s someone still interested in coming along, please don’t forget to sign up ahead of time!
