Big boy High Elves getting the gravitas they deserve at last.
Maybe you should learn some better wording, because your intentions were extraordinarily poorly delivered. I recommend signing up to a class or two on the topic - you can find many of them on the web, and some articles are even free to read!
I see little reason to approach this friendly guild with such hostility, but am also happy to see that you are readily willing to acknowledge your statements as incorrect and willing to let people RP out things that don’t abide by your lore, but do abide by Blizzard canon lore. ^^
Kudos to you for that. I hope you also have fun playing a Blood Elf, even though they will never truly be playable.
Azure Dawn, push on strong! You guys are awesome and the presence of “opposing opinions” only really solidify your (deservedly) growing popularity. I can hardly wait to meet you on my little human again.
Honourable elves fighting for the Alliance and a lost homeland? This Stromic warrior can respect that and would gladly offer any aid he can when we encounter eachother
RECRUITMENT IS CURRENTLY, MOSTLY, CLOSED!
While the Dawn undergo their secret activities in the Ghostlands, the logistics of transporting new recruits from Highvale has simply gotten too difficult. As such, active recruitment will be postponed until the Dawn returns to friendlier lands.
(Applications to the guild are still welcomed, however, each applicant will be considered on a strict case-by-case basis for the next week-ish!)
scum
Why, my little Direhorn…I almost didn’t recognise you with your new skin. Does this mean there’s a chance to bump into some interlopers in the Ghostlands?

Bring it on BUCKO! Assumes tea-pose
Alas, I have the most unfortunate luck! I’ve been looking for an excuse to cross paths since the Isle of Thunder. However, the opportunity to set fire to some Sylvanas loyalists in Northrend has thwarted me again.
Shakes head and sighs.
Talirei and Tethron are great dungeon masters and campaign organisers. Thank you so much for having me over these last few days!
I second this. Thank you from the Starcursed lot!
Void and High elves working together? What is this heresy?!?!
After nearly six weeks on the road, the Azure Dawn have finally finished their first long-form campaign, suffering through spooks-galore, they now have a week of rest and relaxation ahead of them. Recruitment is still on a case-by-case basis, so if you’ve ever had any interest in joining this guild, contact either Talirei or myself ingame! Additionally, I can be found on Discord! (Berner#8326)
Huge thank you to all of the guilds that took part in our campaign, allowing us to bring everything to life, with special mentions going to the Thalassian Skyguard, the Sanguine Eye, and Division Twenty-Three.
There will be screenshots at the bottom of this synopsis, too!
It was going so well. It was all going so well.
The Dawn had finally settled safely into their new base, deep in the heart of the Ghostlands. Here, they went about examining the nearby settlements, ensuring that none of the odd happenings they had faced across the rest of the Kingdoms were happening here.Days of secrecy, avoiding anything that would draw unwanted attention toward their base. Repeated trips into the Ghostlands to secure supplies - each one leaving them at further risk of discovery by Farstrider patrols. Another hunt for yet another artifact - the presence of which was made way too clear by the livid nightmares, and the pestering footsteps of the all-too-familiar void-fox.
It was on one of these exact excursions that everything went wrong. The artifact had affected the local murlocs, and whipped them into a fury - and the combat must’ve been heard. It all started with a single, albeit ominous, message. “Blood Traitors must Pay.” painted upon the log of a fallen tree. The Dawn, foolishly, assumed this to be an idle threat - so returned to their lodgings, licking their wounds of the prior fight.
Later that night, another patrol was sent out. The Dawn had lost some vital equipment in the fight, which needed to be recovered. This patrol only made it across the Scar, before being fallen upon by a small detachment of unmarked elves - blood was spilled on both sides, yet the patrol made it back alive - this was a sign of things to come.
With supplies running dangerously low, a hasty decision was made - a nearby Leyline would be utilized to create a portal which could be anchored for long enough to allow the Dawn, with their collected artifact and supplies, to escape. Plans were drafted, and set in motions, and the first arcane runes were drawn. All was going well, until…
Thud… Thud… Thud…
Dimming the already low moonlight, they descended over the elves - dragonhawks! A dozen, perhaps more, filling the night sky with shimmering scales of all the colours of the rainbow, and the shrill cries of death.
Then came the flames.
The hawks, and their riders, descended upon the elves, scorching, shooting, and swooping. One of the ren’dorei in the service of the Dawn found himself taking one for a joy-ride, in a deadly duel with its rider, mid-air. Again, and again, they swept over the elves - bathing them in flames, and peppering them with arrows - before finally dismounting.
Thinking that the worst had come, the Dawn clashed with the Skyguard, blades singing, and arrows filling the air - yet the fight had only started. Soon, the airborne foe was joined by others - warlocks, priests, and mages - filling the air with their deadly spells, and casting the brawl in a deep, fel-green hue, and greeting the defenders of the Dawn with their demonic minions.
The once-organized fight broke down into an out-right melee. Blades, spells, and arrows struck seemingly at random - hitting friend, and foe, alike. The Dawn were already facing difficult odds, all of their arcanists entirely consumed by creating and anchoring the portal.
Just as the melee looked like it was starting to turn in the Dawn’s favour - things got worse. The ground shook, the dead grass of the Ghostlands was thrown into the air as a sizable force of Blood Knights descended upon the elves. They, alone, had the numbers of the Dawn, and their allies - yet with the melee already unfolding, there was no chance.
Elves were ridden down, or knocked off their feet - scrambling backwards, retreating through the hastily created, dangerously unstable portal - all except Dawnspring, and Lady Everwood, that was. Surrounded by Blood Knights - they were dragged off, to what would (hopefully) be a short, yet unplanned, stay in Silvermoon…
Once again, a HUGE thank you to:
