For many years, the Northern Mountains have been under threat, from endless conflict of it’s neighbours. Blood spills into the hills and it is time for the Dwarves of the Highlands to rally, Bronzebeard and Wildhammer alike. These kin can only trust one another to cleanse the North of Khaz Modan!

The Beards of the Aerie Peak have come to Azeroth, authorized by the Great High Thane Falstad himself, upon recognizing that with the conflict amongst the Highlands, the endless tension with the Dark Irons in the South of Khaz Modan, the Forsaken threats to the West and the unholy risen evils of the North - It was soon recognised that the Hinterlands itself, with limited defences, was vulnerable! Ghorikk Grudgemark arranged a defensive Warband of the lands, which is exactly what the Dwarven people got. The Dwarves seek to cleanse the lands of cur-scum and right the wrongings!
The Beards are a Dwarvish RP guild settled amongst the North of the Eastern Kingdoms, working with other guilds already in campaign matters! We are recruiting Kinsmen to defend the highlands. This Warband aims to keep an accurate, yet humble image of the Dwarven people, in which we thrive on events of adventure and clashing with Horde counterparts. This is primarily a tribal folk, to which a direct uniform is not required, however our kin dress appropriately to the culture, keeping to our great Dwarvish theme.

Conscript
Freshly enlisted Dwarves, these kinsmen aspire a means to prove themselves and become confirmed in their rank.
Soldier
Brave Warriors of the Aerie Peak. The meatgrinder of a frontline of Dwarves in battle. They are responsible for shifting the tides of battle.
Oathsworn
Bound by blood to their clan and fealty pledged to the Aerie Peaks, these are the experienced Warriors, setting an example to the soldiers.
Herald
The voice of the Beards, sent on missions as a diplomatic envoy for messages and negotiations, suitable for the non-battle type of Dwarf.
Chosen Beard
The elite of all Oathsworn warriors to the Beards. They serve as the Authority in the absence of the High Council, Thanesman and Thane. The very front of the frontline!
High Council
The political party of the Beards. A small handful of Dwarves, holding the ability to vote and direct the future of the Beards and keep the Thane in check.
Thanesman
The second hand of the Thane, able to act as the leader in the Thane’s absence, the most reliable Dwarf to the Thane and able to shape the Warband with their influence.
Thane
The head of the table. His word is law and his will unbreaking. The Thane ferociously leads the Defense of the Wildhammer Lands and upholds the reputation of the Dwarven people. Nothing is more important to the Thane than the Peak itself.

Recruitment
All recruitment to the Beards is done in-character through interaction. We do not send an invitation if we have not met you or your character. If you are interested, you are welcome to whisper any member for a referral.
We do our best to quality check the RP of those joining as we believe in quality over quantity.

RP Hotspots
The Beards exclusively create RP content in the Hinterlands, their main base of operation naturally being the Aerie Peak. The Dwarves possess Gryphons to fly to neighbouring regions and can also be found in the Arathi Highlands, Hillsbrad, Lordaeron, anywhere in Khaz Modan and sometimes may also be seen visiting Stormwind City!
