Welcome to the Hinterlands Community!
This project - or perhaps it’s better to call it a vision - is still in its infancy, but its goal is to turn the Hinterlands, one of the most diverse zones in the game, into a vibrant, active hub.
Of course, this won’t happen overnight, and it will require everyone’s creativity to make it work. We’re providing the foundation for this - there are a lot of plans, which, while not fully developed yet, hold a lot of potential and will be introduced step by step.
We want this Community to grow organically, from the ground up. It’s neither our goal nor within our capacity - and here I mean the founders - to organize everything. That would be a top-down approach, which is definitely not ideal. We’re here to provide ideas and a few pillars, around which everyone can build their own stories. Which independent stories can intertwine within the Community’s framework. Naturally, organically. This includes neutral, faction-only, and even race- or guild-only content.
What are the goals of the Community?

- To make the Hinterlands an active region, naturally, through roleplay.
- To establish a framework that inspires the following: the creation of new guilds within the region, and the relocation of existing ones - guilds that then go on to organize their own events and develop their own lore while they can contact each other whenever they want, and by that, fill the region with life.
- To foster a self-organizing, independently functioning community on both the Alliance and Horde sides. One that focuses on its own RP but occasionally comes together when facing a common enemy - or clashes over control of the region at other times.

What community event ideas have we?
Neutral, faction or even race restricted event plans and ideas.
- Hinterlands Moot: A monthly event where the leaders of the factions residing in the Hinterlands gather to discuss matters concerning the region. Neutral, for Hinterlands factions only.
- The Woodland Market: A monthly event where crafters and artisans of the region can gather to offer their crafts to those interested. Neutral, for everyone in and beyond the Hinterlands.
- Holiday Events: Celebrations of bigger milestones and important days.
- Trainings: Separated for both the Alliance and the Horde.
- Other events in the following categories: Trade & Craft, Education & Tutoring, Casual RP, Training & Sparring, Diplomacy, Adventures & Treasure Hunt, High Fantasy RP, Riddles & Mysteries, Shady & Secret
- Events based on the development of both the general and the local, regional lore.
- RP/PvP events are taken into consideration.
What is the Community’s stance on conflicts between factions?
Statement.
The Community does not aim to eliminate IC tension between the Alliance and the Horde. That is a natural and organic part of RP and the lore, offering many interesting RP opportunities. However, since we’re talking about a contested region, the Community naturally provides a platform for both sides to appear. What we make of this is up to us.

The inhabitants of the Hinterlands are primarily Quel’dorei, Wildhammer Dwarves, Draenei, Kaldorei, Forsaken, and Trolls, so we can provide the most effective support in launching and assisting guilds related to these groups. However, this does not imply exclusivity - they are not the only ones who can join the community. We warmly welcome every member of the Alliance, the Horde, and neutral organizations as well. So literally everyone.
