Oh, no, it happened again, to my dismay I discovered that I was 2 days too late to reply and that the other new thread had been closed for further replies, falling to the 1 month rule, this is stating to annoy me.

But again, will try to keep more tack on time in the future.

Stormwind Poetry Appreciation Society is a poetry club run by Bertel Wobblespring, who every second Friday of each month hosts a meeting, open for all to participate in.

The purpose of these meetings are to give everyone who might have interest in poetry a chance to share their passion.

Just show up to one of the meetings, leave a comment in this thread, or send an in-game mail to Bertel with a sample of your work.

In case you are unable to attend the meeting but still want your poem presented Bertel will gladly recite it for you if you send a copy of it to him in beforehand.

Everyone is welcome, even if just to spectate and listen.

From the first meeting:

Come to the first ever meeting in the new started Stormwind Poetry Appreciation Society, and share your poems and songs or just show your support and sit in to spectate and listen.

Everything is acceptable, be it your favorite poem or your own song.

OOC details: Just show up or send an in-game mail to Bertel with a sample of your work.

Place: At the back of Mage District in Stormwind at the pond.

Time: Thursday 8/5 20.00 (8.00 Pm) sever time.

As for the next meeting, that was supposed to be on Friday the 9th of October, I just realized it might clash with the pre-patch event, so I got to decide if I’ll POSTPONE it or MOVE LOACATION to Dalaren.

Keep an eye out for an update on this one of these couple of following days, when I have decided what will probably be the best move.

Damn. I’d just resubbed for this! I’ll have to reschedule in my calendar.

Sorry to hear that.

But unfortunately going through with the event as originally planed will neither be practically viable, as there will be undead creatures running around Stormwind attacking people, and also not really viable from an IC perspective, as that is what to be expected IC’ly at that time as well.

I considered relocating to Dalaren to avoid this, but again from an IC perspective it wouldn’t make all that much sense to insist going through with a public cultural event in the middle of a zombie apocalypse.
