Come to the Plaguelands. Let’s either kill each other or make some diplomacy happen. I can’t wait.

It won’t take long before our arrival, friend.

… Because Scarlets famously hate the undead?

I think there’s a far more concrete undead threat closer to home. Maybe a land of plague, so to say.

Mind you, I don’t have anything against scarlets leaving their nook of the world per-se, but Duskwood’s lich has been owned at least twice, without the Scourge at large ever seemingly being involved.

The main reason why we’re spending time there is related to recruitment needings. In the meanwhile, we’re keeping ourselves ‘busied’ with some small events. We’ll soon head back to Lordaeron and develop our community up North.

I have kept an eye out for you, but still no sign of you…

At least until the pre-patch shenanigans happened. That and the small story of Shaw and Flynn traveling to Duskwood kinda show the undead menace is still around, be it a random necromancer lady raising the dead and murdering half the Night Watch or an actual Scourge invasion, frost wyrms included.

All that aside, there’s also the RP. Duskwood seems to have a certain attraction for villains of all sorts that would in exchange also attract the attention of people bent on wiping them out. Nevermind the whole region being a mess. Nice place to hide and recruit if you don’t wish to be bothered by Stormwind guards.

Radnor smirked, stepping out of the graveyard. The cool, marine breeze coming from Stormwind’s harbour cleared his mind. He took a deep breath, focusing on the closest next move at hand.
‘Another step had been made’, he thought.
‘Another step on the path of redemption. And freedom’.
The time had come for his Scarlets to finally return to their homeland. To finally free Lordaeron from the darkness’ grasp.
Or die trying.
“Light wills it.”, he said to the wind, loudly.

The Scarlet Renegade’s have found that the Cultists of the Damned are sighted not too far from Southshore. They gathered a considerable amount of grain crates, bearing the crests of Kul’tiras, and begun a ritual to infect them with the Plague, picking the needed samples from the blighted settlement. The Renegade’s receiving word marched to the small camp and were able to put down the unholy presence there and. Then left leaving a small mark of the Crusade and a banner of Loraderon. To let all unholy filth in the North that the Scarlet Renegade’s will not allow the North to be polluted by undead any longer and will fight to free the land like so many before them!

Radnor nodded to himself, examining the map of Lordaeron opened on his desk. Key and strategical points had been previously marked on it, to evidence the fellow Scarlets territories, the Argent advance, and the internment camp they discovered last night.
The Knight’s gaze, however, was locked on a small island, placed right in the middle of Lordaemere Lake.
‘Fenris Keep’, he thought.
‘The first real step through the Scarlet’s Rebirth. To our ascension… To our future.’
He picked up a quill from the table, to draw a huge, red circle around the island.
‘Soon.’

Where are you guys usually based? My Argent Orc Champion here hasn’t seen a single Scarlet in the Eastweald simce she was posted to the Western Plaguelands

We’re currently operating in Hillsbrad Hills, and Alterac Mountains. From time to time, we scout Western Plaguelands. Step by step, we’ll bring our efforts to the whole Lordaeron.

I might have Ghormisa take a look down there. I’d enjoy some conflict/rhetoric exchange.

Of course, my friend, I’m pretty sure it could turn into something intersting. You’ll usually find us online from 20.30 realm time on, especially around Strahnbrad. Good hunt!

Y… You’re planning to take over (or attack) a Alliance military base?

Wowpedia hasnt been updated, but according to Exploring Azeroth: Eastern Kingdoms, Fenris and Shadowfang Keep are Alliance territory now!

(I know ingame is boring, just a headsup but I understand if you’ll ignore it  )

That pretty much.

Matthias Shaw states in Exploring Azeroth that both Fenris Isle and Shadowfang Keep are now held by Ivar Bloodfang and his pack, who also happens to be one of Shaw’s contacts. I imagine the Alliance wouldn’t take too kindly on a group of scarlet crusaders attacking their territory, but then again…

On Argent Dawn EU Forsaken made their base in Fenris Keep and a Lich in Shadowfang Keep.

One may also state for future reference that the same book states the Alliance has been returning to Hillsbrad and is working to rebuild Southshore. The Silver Hand and the Argent Crusade are working together in the Plaguelands, with both orders having now bases inside of Stratholme. And at least from Shaw’s perspective (so take it with a grain of salt) and despite all the Scarlet Brotherhood Pamphlets the Scarlet Crusade is done, dead, defunct. Whatever you like to call it.

I was of the same opinion, but I have been convinced the Scarlet Crusade, Renegades, Onslaught and/or Brotherhood could (and probably) does still exist in some shape or form. I mean the fact the Onslaught was still active in Northrend as of Legion (even after the Horde, Alliance, Ebon Blade and Scourge all fought against them) says alot about the tenacity of their cause (and idea, and you can’t kill ideas).

Also, just to make sure I was clear, my remark about Shadowfang Keep and Fenris Isle were not meant to be mean against your guild Radnor, and I most certainly understand if book lore is ignored ingame (because Blizzard doesn’t like updating the gameworld to represent the lore), but I thought I’d just give you a heads up (incase you haven’t read Exploring Azeroth).
