Bumpeddy!

Been busy IRL of late so lets get this boosted back up again!

We are currently scouting out and planning our next event and will be taking responses from our first one into account, we want to make sure we can create a great event for you to attend both IC and OOC!*

As always we are looking for the devout of Elune to join our ranks, or even those looking to rediscover their faith, specifically Kaldorei. And we always welcome people outside of the guild to come join us, so people are welcome to spend time with us and be part of events regardless of membership. Just wanted to specify that as ive had a couple of whispers from people asking if their Male Elf can join and being disapointed they cant RP with us, ofcourse ya can! Mithrallis hangs with us plenty and as some may recall, took part in our first event.

Hello everyone! I would like to apologise for falling quiet the last couple of weeks. I have been ill and Dal has been taking care of me, so we have been out of commission for a bit. However, I am now beginning to head towards recovery and once again able to focus my energies once more on the Handmaidens, so keep an eye out as we are actively looking to bolster our ranks and plan an open event soon.

A Kaldorei guild that actually accepts mages! Oh joy. I also adore the opportunity for meaningful crossfaction collaboration. It just enriches the RP so greatly, I find.

The Handmaidens of Elune will be riding out tomorrow to offer their aid in Darkshore. We will be heading towards Bashal’aran to bring both supplies and healing to those in need, so we hope to meet some of you brave soldiers there .

Tonight the Handmaidens of Elune ventured into the crumbling vaults of Eldre’thalas, on a mission to save if they could, or recover bodies if they could not.

Having been tipped off in Feathermoon that a cadre of human nobles and soldiers intended to raid the fallen city, sent there on the word of some unknown Highborne to recover a tome belonging to them, the Handmaidens felt duty bound to try and save them from themselves since they apparently would not heed warnings previously given about the dangers the city held. Led by their guiding leyweaver, Elrinde, the Sisters delved into the very heart of the place, searching for some trace of the human adventurers. They found none though, the only presence the ogres and the accursed creatures warped by the lingering magic the Shen’dralar stained the place with. Eventually driven out by the echoes of restless spirits and the ruined lifeforms, the Handmaidens pushed their way through the ogres guarding the city gates and back to the safety of Estulan.

Agreeing after their venture through the ruins that no one should be allowed to enter them for fear they would be killed or worse, the Sisters have now taken up posts at the roadside where it leads towards Eldre’thalas, determined to stop the band of humans from reaching it if they can, for their own good…

Using a series of hidden passages, the Handmaidens returned to the fallen city to stand guard at the end of Eldreth Row. The hope was that the door, shielded in multiple wards, would keep the tenderfoot assortment of Humans from entering the city. little did they know a Highborne had accompanied them and guided them though breaching the wards.

Regardless of their perseverance, the Handmaidens held the road and attempted to reassert the notion hat they were going on a suicide mission, when it became clear that they would make no action to turn back, Priestess Frostfall offered the Sisterhoods aid in getting them out alive.

It wasnt long until the goal of their treasure hunt was revealed, a beast of an Ogre lumbered though the once great courtyard, observing dueling warriors of its own kind. a single tome held tight in its grasp, the single tome that the humans hungered to obtain.

The group pressed on, trailing the Ogre until it ventured into the Arena to observe combat up front. while the burgler of the group attempted to dislodge a bauble from a statue, the rest organised a plan of attack, taking advice from Da’leshar to draw the beast out of the arena as fighting it down there was a foolhardy idea.

Going down into an arena with only one exit? whats the worst that could happen??

With the ogre drawn out, combat ensued and it didn’t take long to confirm the Handmaidens warnings as one of the humans was nearly beaten into a lumpy bone stricken pulp by the enraged Ogre lord. as Priestess Frostfall chanted prayers of protection, the elves and humans battled side by side to take the beast down, eventually felling the mighty foe.

All they had to do then was flee from the ensuing tidal wave of Ogres who were stirred into action by the echoing death cry.
