How about stopping low item level players from doing keys they not supose to be doing yet unless they play in a full group with friends or guildies ?, no need to burden randoms with that.
And where is your data about this ?
Because all available data right now is M+ and Raiding. And M+ vastly outnumbers raiders by a large margin.
PvP it was estimated by some streamers to be 4% of the player base. They counted # of toons that had the 1000 rating acheivement.
So I dont really get your numbers. To be honest. Especially because M+ is the only way to gear up. Unless you want to wait an eternity Delving, or swet doing Mythic Raiding.
you could easily mitigate so many of the problems but they choose not to. Proper key depletion removal and 0 score for failed keys would solve like 60% of the toxicity
If I was still actively pugging, I would probably jump out of joy of this but the mere idea would send our “casual crusader” Tah into a holy war against Blizz and previous incidents show, Blizzard will cave to a massive whine outburst.
Keystone Level 7 - Challenger’s Peril
At Keystone Level 7, a new affix named
Challenger’s Peril becomes active. This affix adds 90 seconds to the overall timer of the dungeon, however, 15 seconds are subtracted from the dungeon timer each time a player dies instead of the usual 5 second subtraction. This makes deaths much more punishing for the group as they push higher in Keystone level.
lol and they ended up nerfing it so it isn’t much of a factor now.
I’m assuming because they ripped out the old affixes they found that dungeons needed something else to compensate and then added this terrible affix lol.
the reason is very simple. and its the same for tanks.
both tanks and healers due to their scarcity progress keys as astronomical pace compared to dps - thats why they get to relatively high keys very very fast.
and then what catches up to them is the simple lack of gear compared to dps.
its like in example in one of threads - where 590 tank expects to just join groups easily when barrier of entry for dps to even +2 is atm like 610-615 itlv min to get accepted due to dvelves gear.
same is for healers.
and because of how fast they join ques - eventually they find groups capable of carrying them hard.
You talk about me. But the reality is, we just invite 590-600 ilvl dps in our groups for +2.
+2 Siege of Boralus (25:13) - Mythic+ Keystone Run
The ‘boomie’ is our main guardian druid who has no ducking clue how to play dps. He was top dps by like 50k With that aug we even had basically 1 ‘useless’ player too.
590 is far overgearing +2.
the community blindly follows streamers instead of using their own mind and same problem is with blizzard .hence why we mostly run into issues . the latest mythic plus key depletion change is testament to that . leaving the majority of community still in trouble.
I mean, blizzard can not change the community. When their community is stupid as hell, it is not on them.
And the depletion change for +12’s on a certain score suits basically nobody. Not people under that score and not people above it.
Reality is; every spec can easily do +10’s.
When a blizzard is making changes to the game based on their MDI and Race to world first
the game is simply done with ESPORT in mind
i don’t care if you think the game is not an esport like a LOL or CSGO
but they are doing questionable changes
For example news of this day is that they are stoping depletes
what a great CHANGE
Oh wait it’s again something for the people that are racing for the RANK 1 title
because it’s only apply to 2850 rating… What a game this is
ah thanks puny btw nice to see you again after i returned in late df as i left after Shadowlands it was just too dumb to stay after that

Thats an interesting look at numbers, so atm it is still doing better then S1 BFA if i have read it properly.
It’s not that this isn’t obvious to them (Blizzard); they are banking on it to be the case.
Being forced to develop some type of rapport with random players in-game so you don’t have to be constantly running into “toxic” players is how they funnel players into MDI (Mythic Dungeon Invitational).
Doing the same dungeons with players you somewhat get along with, over time you lot start to get really efficient at doing those dungeons then one day one of you will have the bright idea: hey, why don’t we try out for MDI?
That’s Blizzard’s thought process.
The rank 1’s runs +18-19’s. Not +12’s.
You did indeed read it properly. S1 BfA had the worst and first seasonal affix of all time though, that ruined it for loads of people. Infested was a show of an affix.
Or maybe it’s that doing things with people you like and respect is ultimately just a more fun experience?
What’s the MDI got to do with that?
Yes and no. The issue is buffs , nerfs , changes , fixes all comes or waits for tournaments. It is being pushed and shaped into an artificial esport which no one really watches or cares except couple thousand people.
Yes it is but game balancing isn’t helping either. A class dealing most aoe , most st and doing most utility ( dispel , decurse etc) getting invites over a feral druid shouldn’t really surprise anyone.
You refer to Enhance, I guess? They only shine if you align everything around their 2-minute window. Otherwise a Feral won’t do much worse, as their output is currently quite decent to good. So in a PUG you are prob not any worse off with a decent Feral…
I have wondered what would happen if they just didn’t share tuning numbers anymore. It doesn’t lead to much: the average player doesn’t read them at all, the forumees always complain anyways, and the rerollers use those changes to reroll. It’s not good for much, atm.
