And some people don’t use other people’s misfortune to promote themselves. This is rather tasteless and frankly cheap. An in game RP event, fine I’m down with that.
Flogging your twitch channel while you do it. Not so cool. It would be like a real estates agent add at your grandparents funeral.

And you might be part of the problem of online toxicity. There was no promotion to the channel whatsoever and all donations / subs went to charity. So go play minecraft and move on! Zandalar Tribe is a RP server and everyone who attended was very grateful that such thing was organised. Minecraft boy, minecraft!

And like I pointed out the event wasn’t a bad idea, flogging your channel here after was the cheap aspect. And regarding toxicity I inferred that promoting yourself from tragedy wasn’t the best idea, you were the one who resorted to insults

You only fall down in the fact that I’m 37, married with kids and own two different business that employ 23 people on a weekly basis…
I mean let’s be honest the thought of a stress free basement dwelling existence sounds awesome for about a week. I mean who doesn’t love chicken strips.
And final point, you will notice I said the RP event was a nice idea and I was down with that… the crass advertising of the event after it via his twitch stream is the tasteless bit.

It won’t be to everyones taste but theres nothing wrong with this particularly.
This is definitely a scenario that you had the option to say “nah…thats not for me i’ll just move along” but instead you tried to pick an argument with people organising a digital funeral ceremony because it wasn’t fitting with your particular ethical view that his channel name was showing.
