Abolish keystones, let us pick the difficulty and dungeons

Or contribute your weight and conquer the challenge…

by leech I mean, going other people keystone’s instead of pushing urs. I for once almost never run my own keys because it’s too stupid and annoying if someone leaves fast.

Honestly, If your key wouldn’t deplete or you could choose everything it would create degenerate gameplay.

Constant resetting if somebody messed up, preplace that person and go again.
The amount of finished vs started keystones would be incredible…

(Also, the R1 IO pushers would be having it way to easy to compete in +28 etc keys)

there is always someone more geared. its all about time invested into your character.

but this comes at a cost. want example ? if i played solely this hunter i woudl be likely 405+ atm and doing like 16-18 keys. but because i also play my DH tank and devoker im just doing 14s and started to do 15s on my now 397 hunter. but plus side is im doing 11-13 on both DH and devoker which means with the weeks passing i will be doing higher and higher keys on all of them . while someone who will just start alts later will be hitting terrible timegates / scoregates etc etc

everything comes with a price.

if i was a streamer who gets payed for playing game i would be likely doing +20s already just cause of how much time those people can invest into playing game. i cannot. already had to cut down my playtime to literaly 12 dungeons a week and 2 raid nights because my partner was already complaining that i play to much . and even those 12 keys on 3 chars combined take me twice as much time as in SL because of how many keys dont get completed.

bro - that’s how challenge modes looked like and nobody whined lol

That is also why this system isn’t like Challenge modes, and guess what…
Nobody whines.

a lot of people actually do whine

As proven in this thread since a bunch of people agrees with me

This is how GW2 deals with their dungeons. They have 100 levels of difficulty to choose from. I’d like it in WoW

Except for the most geared dude.

100% , that’s actually how you learn the mechanics esp. higher levels. In pugs they give up and tell you you’re a piece of…

You still can do that now in m0 and get no loot exactly like CM  such a bad idea , bit like your buff TW dungeons one.

8 people out of 100’s of thousands of EU players not a lot really LOL.

Not sure if it would work out. You’d probably just see endless amounts of Shadowmoon Burial ground keys in LFG, because those who only want fast and easy weekly vault would have no reason to do anything else. So you fix one problem but create a new one, and we’d see complaints on the forums like "I’m missing Azure Vault for KSM, but nobody wants to sign up for it.

BS is what your post is.

Like I said, CM’s were a fixed difficulty. Keystones scale.

You aren’t even comparing like with like, its a pure logic fail on your part.

This is a twist on the “don’t let keystones deplete” schtick.

On the one hand yes it would be lovely to choose, especially when you are trying to target particular score or loot drop. However eventually once you’d done every achievement, you’d find everyone just repeatedly running and/or pushing the same key. I presume that’s why they don’t allow it, even if it would make all our lives easier.

Nah it woulnt reduce toxicity at all, people would just replace the word key with the chosen difficulty and be toxic if people screw up that. And people would still be obssesed with RIO and what not.

The only thing that encourages toxicity somewhat is the timer on the keys IMO. Because people want to complete it to get their key/weekly/loot. Someone messing up or just straight out leaving will ruin the key, so people will be more elitist.

But i always disliked pointless timers in games. My favorite genre is RTS wich is the reason i ended up playing WoW with wc3 and all. But some games like starcraft love putting some pointless timers on missions to ruin the fun for players. Timers dont make things more fun, an appropiate difficulty does.

oh well since i do mythics with a friendly community i never really care that much about the timers, and its often asked in the start as well if the timer completion is important to the person with the key. So yeah find a community, i see plenty of people asking for keys between 0 and 16 all day. Getting into them isnt that hard. And well if you want to push extremely high keys you are probably better off with a premade anyway

nah, you think it’s different, but it’s not as different as you think, fixed difficulty or not, there is no real issue, people would just run the difficulty they are most comfortable with. And attempts at difficulty above their skill level wouldn’t hurt as much as they do now. You think you are smart but your shtick is to just disagree with literally everything and anything written on the forum just for the sake of it. Everyone saw through your bs attitude and I don’t think anyone is majorly bothered by it anymore. You are cringe.

I think its different because it is. JFC. And attempts at a difficulty above peoples skill level is sorted, because keys lower. Otherwise it would just be you wasting peoples time in a difficulty where you belong.

You’re the one with the attitude of “design the game around my whims” no matter how little they make sense or how they impact others. Selfish and cringe and completely self absorbed.

no, the only effect of keys lowering is that it causes toxicity, and leavers punish the key owner, any failed attempts for whatever reason, including random DCs, just punish the key owner and no one else, - choosing the difficulty would allow painless progression for everyone, plus bottom feeders could be insta kicked and replaced instead of having to carry them the entire dungeon.

Insulting your Lord and Savior’s name won’t make your deranged opinion right.
