bold statement for a game that makes giant changes every expac for no reason whatsoever. would you think like 3 years ago they would bring back WoD pvp gearing?
Or remember when they introduced Legion pvp templates just to get rid of them the expac later? Or when they changed how much you lose your keystone level per week or that you don’t have to refill a depleted keystone? remember that? IF you depleted a key, you had to run the same dungeon again to fill it up with no reward whatsoever. Remember that? Thinking that they can’t abolish keystones completely, like it’s something written in a constitution, is laughable. They do and keep doing overhauls of every aspect of the game.
like, e.g. talents - complicated talents up to cata, simple mop-SL, now complicated again.
I’m confident they will eventually streamline the M+ system, and if you want people not to run the same dungeon all the time, they might e.g. rotate availble M+ ones every week so you would still be “Forced” to run most of them at least. There are endless possibilities and only small minded medium-smart people like you can think nothing will be ever changed. Asperger’s much?

Are you this dumb or just trolling? Have you never joined a group that had a super bad player ruining a key? I’m not even running my own keys for reasons I listed in the thread.
Unlike M+, in raids you can insta replace any idiot and move on. For some reason in M+ you are stuck with idiots for the entire run. Maybe you are a bottom feeder afraid not to be carried anymore? Makes sense…

This is perfect would fix the issue with leavers mostly

Homie, not even healers gets a break, unless you play a giga FOTM class or is a top 0.1% player who’s a streamer with around 300k con-current viewers who can leech keys or whatever.

You can have m+ just fine but without the need for a key mechanism.

The key system is overly complex and just brings more problems than it solved. It just adds restrictions to gameplay nothing more.

You should be able to walk into any dungeon click on the pedistall, maybe everyone clicks and pick the same level that they all choose together to prevent trolling. And run whatever you want.

I don’t see the need for keys at all.
It also prevent others being punished when people run away or disconnect at the first sign of trouble.

You dont see the need, while I and others enjoy the current system. Risk and reward isnt that complicated.

After you’re done with specific drops the only dungeon you would see being ran would be SBG for weekly vaults/infusions, imagine a group finder with 90% SBG, how lovely.

The two issues I can see with this is that people will not run more challenging keys, so if the best trinket for your spec drops from Ruby Life Pools, well, good luck then?

There will be a gap between keys tun in pugs, as people will want to run the key levels that are most efficient for gearing and valor. Keys between that and push level keys in pugs will barely exist.

Plus the later you start doing keys, the more impossible getting the requirement done for KSM will be.

This solution will drive more people to either quit or to join communities though in my opinion, so it would not achieve the goal you want it to.

Explain how keys add value.

It would not lead to only one dungeon because of the loot tables.

People would only do the specific dungeons first to get their gear, and after that only shadowmoon. Till a level they (almost) can not do that dungeon. And then they stop playing M+.

Loot tables are only valid for so long, SBG also offers an extensive loot table while being easy to do.

Its content… A non trivial method of obtanining gear, with a competetive scoring system. Risk and reward makes it exciting, not feeling as much as a chore/grind, and i dont see the reason to change it / make it easier.

yes and no, if you could for example if you done a +15, be able to choose if you want to run a 15 key or a 2 key, buy just selecting, the ques for dps would go down, becuse you could use your own key to just farm valor much more easily, offcourse if you want to push keys, you still have the dps problem.
but whitout any depleted things it would be better, and that would also contribute in easier groups for people, becuse the risk of loosing your key is not there anymore, and you can risk taking people with lower scores if you just want to do the key, for weekly and so on.

pushing keys offcourse you would still need to choose who to take, and if you want to rush it as fast as possible, but it would give you the opportunity to just do more relaxed runs for fun also.

but offcourse if you have an 8 key, you can not do a 10 key on that key, but have to push your 8 key up but you can lower it of your liking.

I’ve not had a problem getting into keys and I play a holy priest.

Did you try push your key till it change into TJS??
you know push to 16 for example then downgrade to 13 and again push +2 and see what will proc this way you will have score items and even experience cause you will run different dungeons on different diff :smiley:

no because it’s a waste of time and I’m not gonna run 8 dungeons and never get TJS because that’s very much possible. people in WoW are cucked in the head with RNGesus ;p

I think you are confusing the mythic+ dungeons with the actual key item and mechanic. These can be separate aspects and treated independently.

But I guess we have different views on what is exciting.

no, it’s you problem - no one in their right mind should be forced to re-do dungeons they dont need for score, there’s only as much time in a week one has and I don’t waste time on pointless reclears that bring nothing to the table, you are one of those cringe players who think that re-grinds 24/7 are the soul of this game.

I kind of burnt out a little with m+ recently. I see keys itself as an issue right now too but more and more i start to dislike m+ entirely after reaching keystone master, especially now that getting gear has become incredibly rare. In Legion m+ was my favorite content but by now i’m really burnt out tbh.

Personally i’d like to see raids being more accessible to everyone in some way and bring back relevant hc & mythic dungeons like in MoP to WoD.

At least holy priests bring a lot of stuff to a party, including PI and heavy top healing whenever someone gets low :smiley:
