Abolish Disease spell effectively renders your Cure Disease spell useless, as they have the same mana cost and cast time (instant).

Abolish Disease > Cure Disease because Cure Disease removes 1 disease from the friendly target at the same mana cost as Abolish Disease where Abolish Disease will remove 1 disease and 1 more disease effect every 5 seconds making it a more powerful spell compared to Cure Disease

I think there is 1 EXTREMELY niche situation where Cure Disease is better. If you fighting a mage and dont want him to spellsteal your Abolish Disease spell
